Glasgow

We are living through a shit time, of that there is no doubt. I am fed up of people complaining. There is nothing we can do apart from try and do the right thing. Face masks should also be worn properly and not under the chin or have your nose showing. Washing hands should be done all the time as well. Just be glad we were not at this age during the WW2. Be Kind

It's the inconsistencies and contradictions that are causing the fear factor which is driving this thing.

There are very few deaths, very few hospitalisations. And the death figures, at least a third of them are not in fact caused by Covid!!

nursing home deaths, many have covid as a 2nd factor

how many cancer treatments are now on back burner, cancer patients not being treated or procedures delayed

Heart disease, diabetes, cancelation of elective surgeries to compulsory cancellation and postponement of all non-emergent procedures.

Examples of elective procedures include coronary artery bypasses, pacemaker insertions, spinal fusions, cancer resections, tumor biopsies, organ donations, gallbladder and kidney stone removals, orthopedic repairs, joint replacements, blood work, diagnostic imaging, ECGs & EKGs, cardiac catheterizations, nerve-block injections, colonoscopies, mammograms, and bone marrow transplants.

Delay of these elective procedures is no small matter, either for the patients who need them or for the healthcare facilities who provide them.

even transportation is grossly cut down, I an a volunteer and drive many patients to and from hospital in modified vans donated by Arnold Clark, many Renal patients cannot make their appointments due to lack of transportation, ambulance crews can only take one passenger now, rather than 4 or 5, and we have to make up the difference on this.

There will be far more deaths due to the slow down of NHS rather than from Covid-19 itself

and yes I also drive "suspect" covid patients for testing

This We do not have a health service atm. Why? So many people are so focused on the health of their own wee 'bubble' that they are not seeing the bigger picture. We have been manipulated to look in the way that so many do not have the capacity to step back and look out to see the bigger picture. Fear driving masses to conform to something that has had an impact on the world but so do many other diseases and illness. We are but pawns.
