So CDC website updated it's official covid death toll that died from covid only!
Out of the approx 165000 deaths worldwide only 6% of them died from all others were dying from other lifetreatening illness and we're most certainly die regarless!
Trump tweets these 100% correct CDC numbers and they call it fake news and band from tweeter!
Barely 10000 people died worldwide get that round your head!

Said this before on one of the many threads around this.
Death certs often have various reasons for cause of death - this is normal.
My previous partner died from a heart defect but her DC also stated, pregnancy and a chest infection as factors in death.
The amount of people who have died from Covid has not been made up to make it seem more dangerous. In fact medical professionals have always stated that those with underlying health issues are most at risk and those without most likely to pass it on without knowing.
Why is it that people think this is a lie. |

No-one died of HIV, they died of AIDS. But that doesn't mean that if you get HIV it wasn't the HIV that was responsible for the deaths.
What you need to understand is the classification system isn't unique to COVID-19, it applies to all deaths and thus the point about it being "true" COVID-19 deaths is irrelevent. The ratio still remains exactly the same.
Saying they'd die regardless is also trvial and asinine. Everyone has 100% certainty of death in their life. Everyone. The mortality rate for being human is 100%.
Saying "you'll die of something anyway" is not an argument you can use to justify COVID as being non-related to a person's death.
If I have the flu, and drive off a cliff in my car. It's not just the car crash that kills me. If my concentration caused me to crash because of a fever. It was the flu that caused my death also.
If I have a heart attack because I have heart disease but I have it prematurely because COVID-19 got into my system. COVID-19 also killed me.
There have also been 884,106 worldwide. The 165,000 deaths is probably the US deaths, which currently is actually 192,820.
Given I did my research, I'm quite happy to just say you've been misinformed. I doubt very much that Trump's tweet is in line with what the CDC would state about the conclusion.
If you disagree with the CDC then presumably if they disagree with Trump, then you'd agree that Trump was wrong.
The CDC can't be an expert of COVID-19 and then NOT be an expert of COVID-19 with respect to the same facts. |

We’re all going to die, regardless. What price do you put on a year or two of life, of 6 months?
We know that COVID-19 preys on people with pre-existing conditions, such as COPD but if you consider people with COPD can live for many years after diagnosis then what price their lives?
I understand that it’s helpful to you to find something that justifies your selfishness but perhaps your time would be better spent reflecting on why you care so little for others and so much for yourself? |

Yup. Someone made exactly the same mistake last week - And like above I posted the correct figures, you are just quoting the deaths in the USA the above figures are the Worlwide deaths.

now this is something I dont hear people talk about,other than the numbers:-
having had the virus myself(it is NOT a fucking 'flu').Not being able to breathe properly itself is scary as fuck.
Now just imagine how scary and painful it was for the 100's of thousands who have died or who could not even be with their loved ones before they died.
never mind nurses and doctors globally who were/are fighting to keep people alive and risking their own lives.
and in the face of it we are still facing stupidity,lies,disinformation,corruption,politicising,conspiracy nutjobs(add the fucking idiot trump and his enablers to this list). |

Has it not occurred to the OP that we are all in fact dying... one day at a time all shifting towards death.
This argument that the vast majority of people covid has taken where in the process of taking their final final breaths anyway is utter shite.
Thousands in this country have been taken before their time by it. A huge number of the recovered have in all probability also lost decades from the damage their bodies have taken as well.

Why does it matter whether people were going to die regardless? Either way they're still lives that have been cut short, cherished moments and memories with loved ones that could have been had and now never will. A lot of these people died while not being allowed to see their families in their last moments, in some cases due to being separated by thousands of miles (I read one heartbreaking article about a woman in India having to watch her husband die over Skype in a UK hospital, he was here trying to earn enough money to bring her and their two small children over). If they had been allowed to live out their lives naturally they could have passed away at peace surrounded by their families, who will now have to live with the fact that their loved ones died all alone unable to breathe. Who cares what that figure is, have some compassion OP. |

if you had pneunomia in the past and it caused scarring for example... that would be a pre existing condition,
heart/liver/kidney problems... pre existing!..... and so on......
smokers where it may have affected your lungs? pre existing!
drinker where it may have affected your liver? pre existing!
obesity in general? pre existing!
what they are saying is that covid alone if you have live a richeous life along doesn't kill by itself... but in most cases in conjunction with other conditions it may be a trigger!

It's not flu. It's a strain of corona virus. There are experts on corona viruses, there are experts on viruses in general, on public health, on social psychology, on epidemiology, etc. |

There are many experts in associated fields, though this is not flu of course. Thankfully we can rely on experts and evidence that's published and peer reviewed in reputable literature. The oddballs scattered around the internet, stoking protest and dangerous conspiracy theories etc are not the people to sway us, as they are being led by objectives that are not in our interests.
A lot of research done in a few months is helping treatments and understanding |

The majority of doctors and medical expertd are in agreement.
You just have a few prominant anti vaxxer "scientists" who are playing it down. People are using them to play it down - "See! This scientist said it's not all bad therefore it's all a hoax!!!!!"

Do not believe a word BBC print they are bias and this has been proven in many cases. Check all resources to get a varied report. I believe it was 9%, but whether you believe it or not the fact is only 0.1% of the worlds population has died of this Virus, and to date only 0.5% of the population have contracted the virus. So you have to question is this virus any worse than the flu virus. 150,000 people die every day in the world, Covid 19 only accounts for 1-2000 at most. It should be down to the other 99.5% of the worlds population to be able to have the choice of how they wish to live their lives. If you wish to remain in doors for ever then thats your choice, if you wish to get on with your live and accept the risks, like we day every day anyway, then that should be your choice also. Last time I looked we were not in a military state. |

When the pandemic was at it's peak, there were 10 times more home deaths in New York than there were compared to previous years. None of those deaths were recorded as Covid-19 deaths.
Just because a person has an underlying condition doesn't mean they are about to keel over.
But I suppose some people need to choose an alternate reality to justify their selfish and reckless behaviour. It doesn't look like they are selling it to themselves very well considering how desperately they are trying to sell it to others. |

The truth is we still don't know why some people are struck down by this illness whilst others remain unsymptomatic.
All we know is, like any disease, the better your overall health is the more prepared you are to fight illness and get better.
I personally don't know anyone who could fill in a medical questionnaire without checking a box somewhere. Meaning that to some degree or another, technically, we all have some form of underlying condition.
The NHS workers, bus drivers etc who succumbed to Covid were hardly on their deathbeds. They were functioning members of society who may have lived full lives were it not for COVID-19. |

I grew up in a country where there were a lot of political murders. Newspapers weren't allowed to call them murders. So there were news articles like:
"Man shot dead in a car accident" he died of a car accident. The bullet hole was just coincidence.
"Man found standing in deep end of pool" Try doing that without a weight tied around your feet.
This is like de je vu. People dying with Covid-19 but no one dying of it. |

Don't know when my great grandmother was diagnosed, but she lived to be 91. She had a stroke (this condition has nothing to do with strokes). My grandmother has it, she's 91.
You can live a full life with it, it's been survivable since Victorian times.
But I have an underlying condition, huh? |

Why are you expressing covid deaths as a percentage of the worlds population?
In the UK 11.7% of people who had covid have died.
Have you thought that maybe the number could be higher without the measures countries have put into place?
Why the fuck are some people acting like rebellious teenagers over wearing a mask and staying away from crowded places?
So we have the army patrolling our streets?
Are we being silenced, imprisoned, or killed for critisizing the government?
Are we living under martial law?
Of course we're not ffs.
You are still free to go out, the government isn't stopping you from leaving your home.

What you need to understand is the classification system isn't unique to COVID-19, it applies to all deaths and thus the point about it being "true" COVID-19 deaths is irrelevent. The ratio still remains exactly the same.
Saying they'd die regardless is also trvial and asinine. Everyone has 100% certainty of death in their life. Everyone. The mortality rate for being human is 100%.
Saying "you'll die of something anyway" is not an argument you can use to justify COVID as being non-related to a person's death.
If I have the flu, and drive off a cliff in my car. It's not just the car crash that kills me. If my concentration caused me to crash because of a fever. It was the flu that caused my death also.
If I have a heart attack because I have heart disease but I have it prematurely because COVID-19 got into my system. COVID-19 also killed me.
There have also been 884,106 worldwide. The 165,000 deaths is probably the US deaths, which currently is actually 192,820.
Given I did my research, I'm quite happy to just say you've been misinformed. I doubt very much that Trump's tweet is in line with what the CDC would state about the conclusion.
If you disagree with the CDC then presumably if they disagree with Trump, then you'd agree that Trump was wrong.
The CDC can't be an expert of COVID-19 and then NOT be an expert of COVID-19 with respect to the same facts."
No one has died from Aids, they all died from an illness that a healthy body would fight off and recover from |

Surprised it’s that heigh tbh , would have though 1-2% max , these people were all dying , COVID-19 sped it up.
It’s still not good, all life is valuable even people dying have a right to live out their days without being infected by selfish people spreading a new, highly contagious and lethal-for-some virus, but ultimately if you are at risk , protecting yourself from the rest of us Is very easy - wear a mask, wash your hands, keep away from people just like you would with any kind of immune system illness ,it’s common sense |

Then you have case fatality ratio (CFR) which tells you how many positive cases diagnosed had a fatal outcome. The accuracy of this figure is influenced by the number of people tested.

But in that 216,000 to one group there’s people with all kinds of illnesses and I’ve sharp reflexes, never speed and never had a Car crash.... it’s just an average, not all risks are equal. Just put your mask on and avoid those pesky young people and you’ll be fine  |

So I don't know what made the odds so much better for you personally but for the rest of us the odds are vastly different. |
