...Was just removed from this forum. I assume it's because the link was to a site that wasn't a "recognised news site"...

Anyway, thanks to the poster for sharing this. They are probably now on a 24hr ban...

If anyone is interested just google "A Supercomputer Analyzed Covid-19".

Interesting read. There a lot to take in but there could be something in the article.

Indeed.. a shame the forum policies are so restrictive on the posting of links. Some relatively cutting-edge science going on there and a pretty decent theory from what I can see too.

Interesting. I've only read the reported abstract, not the published article. This may hold good for research on drugs being repurposed.

We're not even allowed to post links from peer reviewed medical journals like the Lancet, Nature, Science etc. But we can link to any old guff on YouTube. It's bonkers.

Anyway, the article is very interesting and makes good sense, will be good to see what more comes of that hypothesis.

You can get around the policy by describing the article. You're allowed to talk about articles.

For example I read an article, yesterday, by Steven Novella on Science Based Medicine, called "Covid in Children". (Just something I read recently, to show how you share information without breaching the rule)

Is this the same supercomputer that analyses football every September and more than often gets it wrong about the outcome?

The computer itself is just an IBM P9 which is a pretty standard business server, albeit with a lot more processors and memory.

Provided it has accurate data going into it and a sensible query being presented to it, the output will be correct.
