Walking around Manchester yesterday and the number of people wearing chin bra’s was ridiculous.
The sheer number of chin bra’s, nose peekers and the no maskers made me think that this winter is going to be pretty bad in terms of a virus resurgence alongside normal winter flu illnesses.
Why can’t people just try to comply? It’s not even hard to put a mask on properly. |

Same experience in the Trafford Center on Saturday (see below). |

I've seen some chin bras overseas, where people are outside but, from reports on here, the UK seems to both had the worst infection levels in Europe and possibly the worst mask compliance. It's pitiful that such a simple thing to do is rejected. Thanks to the muzzle shouting lot at the start, we've got people who are behaving so selfishly.
Local to me it's generally good. |

Face masks are currently not mandatory outside, only indoors. I (Hev) take mine off outdoors or put it on my chin, unless it is crowded in the area, in which case I would keep it on. I think the virus has bought out the worst in some people and has breed a lot of superiority and intolerance too.

You are wanting people to wear face masks when outside?

I don’t wear a mask outside but do in shops or on public transport.
I’ve seen people in shops wear their mask under their chins.
And those who say they can’t wear a mask because they have asthma, I suggest they take a look at the Asthma UK website regarding wearing a mask. |

People are being told to wear a mask but not told where, there lies the problem, maybe include instructions or a diagram lol. Reminds me off Spain a few years back when they said you have to where a helmet on a motorbike so the young ones wore it on their arm |

In and around Luton i have seen precisely seven people actually wearing masks properly.
I should not be surprised. In March we had to teach otherwise functional adults how to wash their hands.
We need a huge public information campaign on how to actually wear face coverings... Because people are incapable of thinking for themselves. |

The information is there, age frankly anyone with two brain cells to rub together can figure out that their mouth and nose need to be covered. They just don't want the effort of rubbing said brain cells together.
Maybe it's the turn of the ants. |

Im not going to lie- I haven’t checked recently. But when the whole face mask thing was introduced, the public campaign was championing the wearing of old T-shirt materials as face masks. I have to say- that particular dollop of information didn’t really give me any confidence in the health advice.. |

It was said in jest but some people will say as an excuse that they were told to wear a mask but not told where if anybody mentions it to them. |

This was in the Arndale - it wasn’t clear in my post but I was in the Arndale and this was happening between shops and in shops. |

Couldn't agree more it proves some people are not born with any common sense. |

I find it a bit odd how people that are members, of a swinging website feel they have the right to criticise chin bras when for the past 20 years or so have been doing an inherently risky activity such as having the temerity to have sex with other people other than their partner.
Yes having sex with other people than with your partner carries a 0.03 risk of catching something (p.s. I made that up, but it must be something like that) LOL, even if you do wear a condom and get tested ever week or month or whatever.
But hey it's fun. Just going to the trafford centre for some people is fun during these drab dreary times we live in. |

Nobody needs to wear a mask walking around outside
I have hardly seen anybody doing that
The chances of catching it that way are infinitesimal.
None of the UK governments are advocating that.
Some really timid people on here. |
