all loved up

Well it seems to work. Apparently someone from my flight back to the uk has tested positive so got a call today. Luckily due to circumstances I only have to self isolate till a negative test...

Although already had results back yesterday to my weekly test for a research project.... but apparently it was taken to early to allow me to not isolate. So got another one being done tmw

But it works I guess

Good news . That it's working, not that you're at risk. There are seriously large proportions of contacts that aren't being contacted still.

In other countries they check for people seated next to others on flights but don't count those separated by the aisle.

We're in local lockdown and I know someone at work who is literally doing what they want, going to restaurants with mates giving their name but false address and number, they said they don't want to be stuck at home if someone at the restaurant has it. Drives me insane, I've literally followed all the rules since this started too

That's really bad. These people should have a visit and quarantine tape plastered all over their house. lol. Maybe they'd think twice about dishing out the abuse when the shoe could be on the other foot.

This is why I think the 14 day quarantine when returning from abroad is ridiculous.

People are being idiots in England anyway.

Depending on the age of your phone, it may well be a case it's already installed. You just have to turn it on.

I bought my new phone 4 weeks ago; the track & trace type app was pre-installed on the phone. I simply activated it; I've nothing to hide, hopefully, everything to gain as I choose where to go out, following all the rules as much as possible.

Of course it's the eejits who won't listen, who won't comply etc, with whom we have to be careful!

Going to brake it down ok bet 90% off people have snap chat or Facebook app or kik or uther apps that have got full admin rights to look what any other app in ur phones doing

So there 2 ways I can go about it I can make a quickly little app that like a face changer or something stupid that everyone downloads for the fun off it

Now I have adim permission to look at what any other app in ur phone is doing

Ooo look track and trace is sending ur exact location to who ever owns that app could be some damm serial rapist could be a serial killer you don’t know you just download a quirky app and god know who created it not hard to get a apple lissons to crate a app anyone can

Let me begin by saying it depends.

I am not going to ask when was your flight and when you were contacted although it is great to hear you are being tested weekly- we all should be.

However,

Track and trace ultimately depends on timing.

If you are not able to track close contacts ( and make them test /Isolate) a positive patient within 72 hrs ( ideally 48 hrs)- it’s not going to work.

The critical issue is that people coming in contact with positive Covid patients can spread the virus within 48 hours ie

They are spread the disease before they have symptoms.

I hope you are ok and do not get this God forsaken virus.

What have you actually got to hide, I aren’t bothered who knows where I am going or where I have been. It will be nowhere exciting or nowhere that anyone would be actually interested.

Unless you’re doing something you need to hide there is nothing to worry about

I filled the form in online but it wasn't checked at the airport. I have to quarantine for 14 days anyway.

There were people on the plane from covid hotspots and others who won't have to quarantine. No social distancing on the plane.

I work in an independent Cafe. We have maintained 2 meter rule and lost 5 tables due to this. All staff have had covid19 training and certificates given.

Deep cleans are done. I.e bleach. Track and Trace is done and ordered by dates in case anyone asks for details such as PHE, LA or the NHS.

Funny how we don’t here about track and trace now ..... a report states that its findings are most infections stem from hospitals which didn’t fit with the narrative of pubs doing all the spreading.
