the UK Governments own review on mask wearing says that the evidence that they are beneficial is weak. The document can be downloaded (pdf) in the link below, read it for yourself.
Of course, if masks are effective capturing (supposedly lethal) viruses, as claimed, where are all the biohazard disposal points as used masks seem to be quite happily filling up waste bins, dust bins, public transport seats, city centres, rivers and beaches.

Same reason as under 11s don't have to social distance, to see what happens, we are still learning about how this virus travels and how we get infected, if it goes wrong the guidelines can easily be changed, we saw that with the airport quarantines |
