No, it's worth scepticism with this government but this isn't the politics area, so we can only discuss the virus really.
If posting a link to a story that you think is important enough for people to leave fab for, it's probably important enough for the op to outline it, with their view.
I've not read it but get largely my information from scientific sources, especially those that have been peer reviewed. They provide an outline of the certainty that the data and summaries have.
Sadly, this forum area has had a copious volume of posts that frequently include conspiracy theory elements, which typically foster division and culture aspects of false opinions.
We need solidarity of the population, who individually are the only way that we can stop this virus from being passed on. Everyone has to change their behaviour from the standard norms as, whilst leaders can make rules, there's insufficient police etc to enforce laws and it's the minuteae of personal behaviour that permits or stops the growth in the infection rates.
The very healthiest and least likely to die can get infected and be the links that cause it to be caught by those who die.
We also need to focus away from the death rates too, as even those getting mild symptoms can have organ damage, including brain damage, with the likelihood that thousands will have impairments for life. We also don't know if people could catch it more than once and what the effects of this would be for them. Caution is appropriate and presently infection rates are not as low as they should be, to open up our culture more widely, without concerns for the coming winter months, where a range of viruses infect people, not just this and the flu. |
