I'm a self employed handyman/builder and have had a few jobs cancelled due to customers being cautious with their future spending, has anyone else had jobs cancelled on them?

because of the line of business we are in we haven't worked since march and cant return to work until October 1 as that's when the government will allow us to return

Iv not had a wage since November when I set up my uk company start git paid I did not I’m now closing the company at the end of furlough and returning to Australia having lost a small fortune with no help from the uk government

The second seiss grant for self-employed people is coming in aug for any self-employed who are struggling, check on the gov website for details

In Spain and haven’t worked since before lockdown. No income nothing. No point coming back to uk either as bugger all there either. I’d do any job to to tick over til my own industry restarted but there’s nothing here either. It’s horrible

Are you signed up to Rated People and My Builder etc. - they're all claiming record number of job postings.
