At first we thought that would never get on rides because the Q's were so long - but there is only half as many people in so the they move quite quickly. There are lots of sanitiser stations dotted about everywhere. A little of the atmosphere is missing, but by and large we got to ride everything and felt safe at all times.
They take cash or card at most shops and food outlets etc. All the food outlets are open. All the toilets are open.
You HAVE to wear a mask on rides but not in the Q's if you don't want to - 2 meters are marked for Q's . You can buy masks in the resort shops.
All in all - a great day out.
Booking again very soon.
Great to get back out in the World of lots of people without feeling unsafe.

"This is great news. We have tickets booked in for two weeks time. "
Also I should have mentioned if you are in a two or three etc - the will put you in one Q's line at each departure station. So for example Oblivion. is 8 across so when you board they will give you three seats and then pull a seat down so that it is between you and the next set of people (not in your group).
Skyride and Monorail is shut - So it adds a fair bit of walking.

Face it, you're probably far far more likely to die on a ride crash than bloody Covid so we'll done and glad you had a great day. |

Ah so you need to walk from the car park
We are going with the kids. The youngest won't be allowed on the big rides, but i can guarantee B and my daughter will be on every rollercoaster. |

Woolacombe was awesome too last week. We had a great time, felt very safe with everyone making big efforts to stay apart and yet made us all feel very welcome.
It was slightly subdued but still a lovely holiday. |

The car parks they put you in is C D E & F (the one just past Crazy Golf) It's not too bad a walk from there really.

Yea. Atmosphere was a bit odd - but that might be just that people are odd at the moment lol. A bit pensive perhaps, but probably no need to be really. |

Atmosphere is a bit odd in general everywhere at the moment. I think it's because nobody really knows when or if things are gonna really return to normal. 'Second wave fear' is about as well.
Just gotta hope we get through without a second wave and I think people will be far more confident |

I'm glad you posted this. I usually take my daughter but wasn't sure whether to or not.
What about Rita? Are there people in front and behind you?
And Nemisis? Just one seat not in use between you and the next person? |

Rita had a row behind and in front empty - On the Q in and stairs 2 meter distances are marked. Everyone is paying attention really. If any of the Q's get bunched an announcement comes over the address system to get back to 2 meters.
Yes just one seat. There was ayoung lad who kept pulling his mask down on Nemises while they were loading. A staff member told him twice - then she said I'll tell you once more then security will remove you. |
