How’s everyone doing? - they finally seeing some end to this? - Getting their life back?
Corona hit me hard - not the disease other aspects, took a job promotion & changed job. Old company refused to furlough anyone that’s left - so went 3 months no income. Thankfully I was prepared - so many weren’t.
With that said - I started my new company (working from home, with the option of going into the office) - That’s my seeing the light moment. |

"You got a job promotion and were able to work throughout Lockdown so why do you say Corona hit you hard ?"
I got a job promotion, accepted it & couldn’t start it. Wasn’t fully clear - old company refused to furlough me. So effectively was ‘unemployed but employed’?
So all the bills to pay still - then went to literally £0 income within a day.. |

"Sorry I misunderstood your post. Pleased you are getting some income again now "
It’s not just £ I guess - also the little bit of sanity actually doing something with your time brings |

Considering the old company gets the money from the Government, that's a bit cunts trick not to take you back. LinkedIn is full of people who did just this, to make sure people had a wage. |

You could possibly have done both?
The virus is still here and is a formidable force to be reckoned with. We've had relief because we eventually had a limited lockdown.
The vaccine hasn't had stage 3 trials done yet, it's not been shown if it stops people getting infected en masse, with significant levels of protection. If it does, then the world deserves it for those most at risk.
The economic damages will continue for some time, whilst the virus can continue to be passed on where people cross paths. It's truly positive news that we have the vaccine results today and 2 other vaccines are at the same level of testing. We've come a long way. |
