Why is it since covid have people according to many posts on here suddenly started snorting and coughing over fruit and veg in supermarkets contaminating them? I'm sure it would have been a issue before this although I have never seen this odd practice happen????

I'm sure it's nothing new, but in the current circumstances I'm forever growling at my wife to stop her usual handling of fresh fruit and veg...

....she's one of those that has the need to pick up and squeeze individual items to check them for firmness - she must have picked up and put down 12-15 aubergines last week before settling on the three she wanted...

Have they? Can't say I've noticed when I'm shopping but I do but pre packed fruit and veg for that very reason.

Not so good in lidl when the bloke in front has just finished scratching his knackers....then goes through the bread rolls

Contaminated packing would have the same effect

Not noticed. Assuming that washing and cooking beg will likely destroy the virus.

I clean everything entering the house from shops.

So you watched him from inside the toilets all the wy to outside? I mean, good on you, I've hung aroun a few cottages in my time looking intently at other men, but if you wenre't sizing him up for a quick fumble do you not think that's a bit odd?

You need to choose better places to shop

I'm ever hopeful that you get what you give... Not wishing illness on anyone but hopefully a bolt from the blue that makes whomever realise there are other people on this planet as well as themselves

Only buy fruit/veg in sealed packages now but I would never buy open bread because you don't know how many people have touched it and you can't wash bread!

I know some people who sort through packs for best before date...or check veggies but last week in Lidl saw a lady wearing a mask who moved 6 packs of petfood tins to get to the bottom one.

Did she think the rest were not good enough or fresher ?

Numpties.
