(CNN) - Authorities in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia have closed several tourist spots after a case of bubonic plague was confirmed this week.

Only one? Normally a few hundred every year.
This "non-story" is doing the rounds on social media and 2 other posts on here.
Bubonic plague has been around for centuries so:
1 A high level of inherited immunity
2 Bacterial and easy to treat with standard antibiotics |
