"Nope....is it antigen or antibodies?"
It's The London Imperial College Ipsos Mori Research Test.
It's a study to test if a 'Saliva Test' can be as good as the Invasive 'Nose & Throat Test'.
The Kit has a Saliva Test Kit and also a Nose & Throat Kit (like the one in the drive thru's)
So it's antibody.
They give you the results of the Nose & Throat test but not the Saliva test.
They will also use the returns to for Lab experiments on other factors (but you can opt-out of that part if you wish to.
We were contacted randomly from NHS records - If you wanted to take part a letter came first asking if you wanted to - then you sign on to a website to give permission and answer a few simple questions etc.
Then we received the kits (over that last two days).
You can't do the test until you have booked a same-day courier - once that is done they tell you to do the tests and the courier arrives to pick it up.

How long did it take for them to return a result?"
Done the test Saturday got text Tuesday also received letter today xx

Having done the Ipsos MORI/Imperial antibody test, I'm not sure that that is useful to the testee unless you've had the bug. I guess it is useful to the survey team though. |

Yup. Unless it shows that you are Positive. Or you are Happy to be Negative. Non at all really.
