Who has been waiting throughout lockdown? Thankfully I have a lady friend in Malvern who has kept me in trim throughout....
It's been quite fun seeing some of the "mop-heads" out and about though.... |

I have an appointment in just over a weeks time which I'm pleased about however I'm more interested in getting my eyebrows waxed and eyelashes dyed but beautician isn't allowed to open yet |

Tint and wax is my next appt for when they are allowed to open, but slightly more trickier to plan for as close face contact is inevitable |

I shaved my head at the beginning of LockDown. Now it's like a wire brush. Lol. Got an appointment on Monday at the barbers. Result!
Was a bit funny phoning up and when they asked for the name and I said a woman's name....silence.

I bought a set of wahl clippers with different trimming guards and followed videos on youtube from The One Minute Barber on cutting your own hair.
Very simple instuctions on two videos one about trimming sides the other about top. No messing with two mirrors. He doesnt try to get you to do anything fancy just get it looking Ok |

We got Remington ones just before LockDown and they are shit hot. Easy to use. Gives an even cut, even on my double crown cows lick sticky up Northern Ireland hair, brilliant. Well worth the investment, but I cannot wait for Monday and getting to the barbers! |

"I last got my haircut end of January.I will go to my barber’s tomorrow find out if I need to book online or what his booking procedure is."
I can't see an appointment system working that well in lots of barber shops... |

Mine are being very strict from what I've seen.
No walk-ins, even to make an appointment. Full PPE for staff. Masks for customers but encouraged to wear your own. 20 mins between each customer to clean up. No waiting inside. |

I live just outside the Leicester lockdown area, but I've had my haircut at the same place in Bedford for the past 50 years, they're now on the third generation of the family.
Unfortunately Bedford now has a high number of covid19 cases, and there's rumours Bedford will be locked down again... It looks like I'm going to be an aged hippie for another few weeks. |

I've had to become very adept with a pair of scissors - normally works quite well, as long as I don't try doing two things at once!
However, I did trying dyeing it right at the start of lockdown, and that was an absolute disaster... |

Many here seem to be DIY or getting Mrs/(Mr?) to do it. If they do a good job will you stick with it and save a few bob?
I'm lucky in having a lady friend who has continued to do mine so no change. |

Watching bbc breakfast where they are showing a hair salon what a fucking joke
A face shield that does nothing because it’s not stopping anything because of the angle that it’s being warn at.
Clients not wearing any face covering ect in a woman’s salon.
Cut to a mans salon the guy wears a visor and face mask and costumer wedding face mask.
Spot the difference

I dug out. My razor and took off my beard this morning, it felt so good and clean that I just carried on and took my hair off as well....... totally bald now, and it feels amazing!
Problem solved. No more Covid hair to worry about! |

I'll wait a while for my haircut. Been 4 months and while it doesn't look great, a few more weeks of overgrown hair is a small sacrifice for me to make. Not judging anyone who opts for a haircut though. |
