As in other thread...

A rise of 66% of new infections in Plymouth approximately, can't be arsed to work out exact %

Local paper states figures rising from 2 people last week to 5 people this week, a huge leap of 3 people that statistically equals a massive rise in the percentage of new infections.

Most of the idiots would not be interacting with much of the local population. They have their parties, and pass the virus around amongst themselves, leave all their mess around for others to clean up after them.

They then go home and re-infect around their own local populations, passing the virus around.

These are the same idiots who will then bleat about the Government not doing enough to stop the transmission of the virus, and how they are now being persecuted when a new lockdown has to be imposed

You mean the highly inflated one? Like 95 year olds dying of covid19 when in fact they were on deaths door anyway?

A friends mum had weeks to live and developed Covid19 days before she died, but still went down as a Covid 19 case, ridiculous!

Sorry mate but if she developed covid, that would have to go on the death certificate either as primary or secondary..

If your suggestion is that it should be not on the certificate then that implies it's ignored which is not exactly sensible if we need to know what is going on and where..

Presumably because when they sent thousands of untested people back to care homes, nobody noticed the incoming problem so didn't start counting. And when they started counting they put Priti Patel in charge of it.

Thankfully better than much of the USA and Brazil, though that's setting the bar very high

Most people are still well behaved, though the Cummings event news set distrust for the authorities and recent changes have sown confusion for some.

I live in one of the areas on the list , and since day one not many people have stayed in , groups of youths drinking and smoking wacky backy , are hanging around the parks and tram paths , raves have Been had in the local parks , kids have took down the fences to the play areas , shops are rammed , it’s a joke but when we are out back into. Lockdown again trust me these people won’t be staying in , they will carry on doing what they have done since day one

"How is Bournemouth not on here

Presumably because the beach invasion was mostly by people who weren't local - they took their infections back to whence they came from...

In which case would they not have passed it on to the locals? "

Only if locals got close enough to them to catch it.

Agreed, after viewing recent events seems people just don’t care anymore or have not had anyone close to them affected to make them think differently about the situation.

This Sunday evening will be clap for the NHS.

I wonder how many people who were sitting on beaches attending raves or walking on protest will be standing in their doorsteps clapping.

lol. That one was actually reported by the NHS itself and de-bunked by the Chief of Fire Services.

You may have an image that purports to show otherwise, doesnt mean it does, doesnt mean that even if something catches fire it was hand gel, I believe nothing I see these days unless I'm there to see it and know its genuine

"Coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths worldwide per one million population as of June 25, 2020, by country

(1st)Belgium

(2nd) UK: 43,081 Deaths

*647.94 deaths per million

(3rd) Spain

(4th) Italy

(5th) Sweden 5,230 Deaths

*513.59 Deaths per million

(6th) France

(7th)USA: 121,817 Deaths

*372.34 Deaths per million"

Interesting in view of the relative surface area of those countries, the population and incidence of Covid. The USA has approx 4 times the population of the UK but the land area of the UK would fit into Texas (2nd largest US state). France has a comparable population to the UK but land area is significantly greater than the UK.

Of course my observation is meaningless as humans, being social animals, cluster together in tribes. If people were spread across the land mass of each country, like jam on toast, then social distancing would be a breeze. But we ain't like that.

Yes there has. It happened to one of our service vehicles in Ghana.

The incorrect alcohol sanitiser was purchachased due to the demand caused by covid. The bottle was left on the dashboard of the vehicle below the window in direct sunlight.

It stripped the inside of the cab due to fire and the vehicle was subsequently written off.

It may not be the UK but I can share the report with you no problem.

Leicester 140.2 per 100,000

Gloucestershire 0.6 per 100,000

Official PHE figures accross all tiers of testing.

On news last night. Not sure where you got your "list" from but perhaps not a trusted source?

Our company has just announced it will start restructuring due to the current legislation.

Slough where our head office is, was put back into lock down and subsequently all those that did return back to work have now been told it could be September before they could return.

Not looking good

I've heard of a construction worker who set his hand on fire.

He used an alcohol based sanitizer then lit a cigarette

to be fair that's not a very high bar to jump, it looks to me that a story gets put up somewhere and lazy journalists just grab it and run it themselves, several times since lockdown the bbc have had to retract stories.
