As in other thread...
A rise of 66% of new infections in Plymouth approximately, can't be arsed to work out exact %
Local paper states figures rising from 2 people last week to 5 people this week, a huge leap of 3 people that statistically equals a massive rise in the percentage of new infections. |

Most of the idiots would not be interacting with much of the local population. They have their parties, and pass the virus around amongst themselves, leave all their mess around for others to clean up after them.
They then go home and re-infect around their own local populations, passing the virus around.
These are the same idiots who will then bleat about the Government not doing enough to stop the transmission of the virus, and how they are now being persecuted when a new lockdown has to be imposed |

"What's THE REAL .uk death figure "
You mean the highly inflated one? Like 95 year olds dying of covid19 when in fact they were on deaths door anyway?
A friends mum had weeks to live and developed Covid19 days before she died, but still went down as a Covid 19 case, ridiculous! |

Sorry mate but if she developed covid, that would have to go on the death certificate either as primary or secondary..
If your suggestion is that it should be not on the certificate then that implies it's ignored which is not exactly sensible if we need to know what is going on and where.. |

Presumably because when they sent thousands of untested people back to care homes, nobody noticed the incoming problem so didn't start counting. And when they started counting they put Priti Patel in charge of it. |

Thankfully better than much of the USA and Brazil, though that's setting the bar very high
Most people are still well behaved, though the Cummings event news set distrust for the authorities and recent changes have sown confusion for some.
It will be tough if there are many separated areas of lockdown. |

Interesting in view of the relative surface area of those countries, the population and incidence of Covid. The USA has approx 4 times the population of the UK but the land area of the UK would fit into Texas (2nd largest US state). France has a comparable population to the UK but land area is significantly greater than the UK.
Of course my observation is meaningless as humans, being social animals, cluster together in tribes. If people were spread across the land mass of each country, like jam on toast, then social distancing would be a breeze. But we ain't like that. |

Yes there has. It happened to one of our service vehicles in Ghana.
The incorrect alcohol sanitiser was purchachased due to the demand caused by covid. The bottle was left on the dashboard of the vehicle below the window in direct sunlight.
It stripped the inside of the cab due to fire and the vehicle was subsequently written off.
It may not be the UK but I can share the report with you no problem.

"Iv have an image that proves otherwise, may not be all hand gels though.
It was only happening in extreme temperature condition.
It's bollocks mate, there's never been a fire in a vehicle where the cause has been hand gel..
"
I've heard of a construction worker who set his hand on fire.
He used an alcohol based sanitizer then lit a cigarette |

"BBC news reported that a few lists are going round saying other places are going into lockdown etc
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/53248531
I wouldn't trust the bbc to tell me what day of the week it was"
I'd trust it more than the list from "several sources" given at start of this thread. |

to be fair that's not a very high bar to jump, it looks to me that a story gets put up somewhere and lazy journalists just grab it and run it themselves, several times since lockdown the bbc have had to retract stories. |
