Streatham

With this virus, we bought some Portable Emergency Toilet Kits - it is a Portable Potty Urinal comes with Liner Bags and Odor Absorbent Organic Media, for Adult and Children for Outdoor Traffic Jam Emergency.

So with this Bournemouth thing and as we have seen people defecating in public we wonder if you have bought some or should the government make it mandatory for people going to the great outdoors to have one as well?

Can't see them catching on...well not with me. I'm regular as clockwork with one of them in the morning...the other only requires a empty lemonade bottle

Northampton Somewhere

I did read somewhere some campsites have asked holiday makers to supply their own toilets

I just won't go to places where the amenities are closed. They're closed for a reason...

East Sussex

Public toilets are open in Eastbourne and disabled toilets have been open round here throughout.

No, the government and local authorities should just do the sensible thing and reopen the public lavatories and washrooms that they stupidly closed. Maybe hire a few extra cleaners to maintain their hygiene too and also a few portable loos too so as to cope with the extra capacity.

How come you brought a portable toilet because of the virus?.

I'm able to squat and pee without difficulty away from prying eyes if the need arises.

But I'll be glad when more public loos open up again

I think public loos have to open, as people can legally be out for long periods of time and be away from home or somewhere that has an open facility.

I would have placed them as to open before pubs. Government should fund councils to open and clean them differently. Even the Victorians knew the many values of public facilities, including at a health level

I've no private facility

incognito mode ;-)

You can buy the disposable unisex urinals from camping shops, amazon etc approximately 6 for £12

I've got a pack of 3 in my glove box in my car I was in a traffic queue for an hour once,a guy in front just got out and pee,so easy for men

I use to use them camping so didn't have to leave tent or cabin to go to the loo's in the early hours, when I was all snug

If you can't tolerate using a public toilet, don't go out in public.

Unless you've earnt some Duke of Edinburough or something similiar like the miliatry, I doubt you've ever been taught the correct way to handle this problem.

And I doubt they have many forests to sneak off to in Brighton :D

The problem is that public toilets and shop toilets aren't open.
