Government should make it compulsory that if you are an idiot that is happy to ignore the social distancing rules, that you are put on a list that stops anyone in your family getting hospital care for Corona in the future! |

And yet every time this happens ... still no increase in the infection rate just a decrease ... we’re a good month and a half on from when people first stated not social distancing at the beach 3 weeks on from people not social distancing in London’s streets ... still seeing decreasing infections ... |

"well said mate, as they will be the first ones to _oan if lockdown restrictions are imposed again!!"
It's not only that some of them are unsociable thug criminals, it's the fact that somehow we have people who now say... "ah bless them it's to be expected, they've been under lockdown for 3 months, police are fascists govt have been crap and don't forget cummings went to stay with his parents etc" as if that somehow excuses it. |

The parking around Bournemouth & Poole beaches and beauty spots was / is rediculas last few days. Parking on double yellows, parking on double yellows with yellow lines on curbs, middle of round abouts, raised kirbed sections leading to padesrian crossings, loading bays, edges of roads with no paths with bushes. Pavement parking, across driveways, dropped curbs and random " just abandoned" parling.
Riding a motorbike, around currently is very dangerous. Not to mention the rubbish left behind, the verbal abuse and ignorance has to be seen to be belived.
Queing to pay for petrol. Bloke walks in, up the clearly marked " EXIT" lane. Threw cash at the cashier and walked out. Ignoring the 6 people who had been queing, ingnoring the one way and limit to numbers in the shop. Maybe he was in a hurry to get to the front of the catch it covid que.
But my _oaning won't change anyone or anything.
The world is crazy Bournemouth / Poole should be shut. |

I say get on with it. If the government see fit to open the boozers, where distancing will be ignored after a few pints, and not gyms, why can't we go to the beach. |

Most countries prevented their citizens from travelling a long way from home when they started easing off restrictions. It was obviously too much to ask to our clowns who’ve managed to fuck everything up since the start. A 20 miles radius would be sufficient, but as always the UK css as n not do like anybody else... |

Not saying you can’t got to the beach but please leave it the way you found it, tidy & take your rubbish home with you. If you can’t do that then don’t come our beaches, stay at home & trash your own house & area! Have some respect for other people |

Double edged sword. The local business must have welcomed the influx and made a profit from visitors.
You could close all the local businesses as a deterrent which might stop some of the littering, however if consumables are brought in there is little that can be done.
The only option would be to officially close the beach.

No, that's not what's being said.
Those half a million Muppets who descended on Bournemouth yesterday, plus many more into Sussex, Essex and Kent, didn't need to go there!
What kind of eejit arrives at a packed resort and think, "it'll be all right, I'll join all these other people. I'll put myself, my family and anyone else at risk, because I'm having a day out!
Some of these people travelled 100's of miles, putting others at risk from potential infection.
They put local services under immense strain. At other beauty spots along the South Coast, police and council workers manning blocked off car parks, were spat at and verbally abused.
I have friends in Bournemouth, whose car parked in their drive, couldn't get out, due to a brain dead Moron parking their car and blocking the drive. Other locals in the street had the same problem, blocked in by shit for brains empties who cared for no-one but themselves.
The last laugh was on these morons. Police towed the vehicles; owners had to pay to get them released from a compound.
So, risking the health and wellbeing of everyone, just to follow the crowds, was asking for trouble. That includes potential COVID19 spikes.
Hence, what the OP suggests is quite true. Register at the resort and if you fall I'll with COVID19, you're on your own!
If you die, you die! Tough! But maybe the message will get through to even the most stupid, ignorant "thickoe" ever!

Denial of humane treatment would be akin to the atrocities that the worst of the world's cultures implement.
Individual travellers would be ignorant of the others, so are not guilty of anything, just for enjoying their freedom to travel.
If you pack any space with people they will adjust their social distance and you could observe that, with the equivalent of a Mexican Wave travelling on from the point where new people join and encroach on others. Proximity distances can shrink almost imperceptibly at times, with suddenly thousands of people too close to each other.
Like car park available space systems, we should probably get better at assessment and communication of availability for beaches. These could be broadcast as traffic congestion bulletins are now via the radio and the Internet. Officials should have seen this coming, whilst millions of people are unable to travel to Welsh beaches. It was predictable and they could have set up systems that were mire important than others they've done. |
