Trump wants to stop testing so many people.
“When you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people, you’re going to find more cases,” Trump said. “So I said to my people, ‘Slow the testing down, please.’?
What a brilliant idea! Inspirational guy.

He's likely not the only politician to have thought of and implemented it, though the others probably kept quiet. The lack of testing in the UK has helped to keep recorded cases to lower level.
Trump now has 1 focus - getting reelected. He'd probably prefer lower numbers that can be quoted around the country. |

I am not a trump supporter but he was actually joking.
It was at one of his rallies and he was taking the piss.

It's incredible that Governor Cuomo got such a pass from the media on his horrendous COVID leadership that NY having 15% of the COVID deaths *of the entire country* is seen as some kind of win. Liberal privilege, man, nice if you can get it.
Never let facts get in the way of a line from a Trump rally. Which obviously the media will latch onto, have some fun with rolling their eyes, and will make the same mistake as in 2016 by kissing sleepy Joe butt until early morning November 4th, when we can enjoy another Meltdown for 4 more yrs  |

The problem with Trump is you just don’t know at times. He’s got a habit of saying what he’s thinking at the time, especially with the bleach for example.
I agree he was saying it as a joke, but he’s dumb enough to actually consider it as an election boost
and stop all testing. |
