Swimming pools, thermal baths and wet areas such as steam rooms there is little evidence to suggest that coronavirus can be passed through water, and according to the World Health Organisation chlorine kills it.
So what are the chances do you think of Spa and swimming area opening soon? |

I'm guessing that the social distancing change that's reportedly coming in a week or so as well as the aspects of the damp environment will both be key to the relaxation decision.
Dry saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, hot tubs etc are fairly varied - some with chlorine as someone mentioned. I'm guessing that public swimming pools are the most likely to be most easily validated for safety, due to recognised chlorine (usually) levels and probable ease of testing for the virus survival rate over time. Whether the rate of water processing/filtering would be an associated factor, like the assessment of Air-conditioning flow in rooms etc is, I'm unsure.
Perhaps they'll recommend swimming goggles, to prevent eye contact? |

Chlorine pretty much kills it on contact. The chances of contacting through pool water is pretty much 0. There's not really much that can be transmitted if the chlorine levels in a swimming pool are correct.
Only risk in respect to covid would be close contact in the changing rooms |

You will not closer than some people in shops, this weekend has been terrible. Once inside a shop there is little to know distancing at all, and when you tell people or say something they look in disgust, I have to bite my tongue, and usually its the older generation I have noticed too, not to tarnish a generation just what I have experianced |

I guess changing areas are the main issue not the pool itself. Still hoping they will open on the 4th of July .
