At least 3 big raves this weekend. 2 in Manchester and one in Staffordshire....
Knobheads one and all.
Add this to the protests in London and see what happens to infection rate in these areas in a couple of weeks. |

The thing is there have been laws passed so the police can take action and press chatges on large gatherings, but they don't and so what deterent is there?
Without a strong law these gatherings will continue to take place with no concern to the 'R' rate or anybody else. |

"You can probably count in the fact that England is open to everyone again. Airports haven't closed.
The protests are an easy scape goat. "
Arrivals to this country do have a 14 day quarantine, they are trying to do something. |

They have no actual way of enforcing or policing the 14 day quarantine period
They are relying on people doing as they are told
Unfortunately a lot of people won't |

They are relying on people doing as they are told, unfortunately that isn't happening now, with raves and riots and seaside visits. There will be random checks and visits from police and fines of £1000 if they are not at their given address. |

The is the bit that confuses me is everyday I'm reading something about riots or packed beaches, VE Day and all these different occasions where people are all getting together, but the recordsd number of deaths each day is also going down.
If all these things were really affecting the numbers they would be going up by now as far as I can work out.
It just doesn't make sense to me, like so many other things in the world right now. |

Death numbers are important to is us as they are an unnecessary occurrence.
In regards to the virus it is the new positive cases we need to concern ourselves with, if you check the graphs there are recent spikes (like lots of countries have) but they are small and manageable, big theatre news only report dramatic occurrences, not the yes we are coping well with the virus at the moment.
We need to keep on managing it, there are lots of asymptomatic carriers so keep on sanitizing and social distancing and wash your hands thoroughly and we can enjoy more and more things which we have been denied for so long |

What doesn’t make sense ?
Those at risk are isolating / distancing
Those that are not at risk are mostly distancing
It’s working |

"You really think the police will have the resources to go doing spot checks on people and go knocking on random doors to check you’re at home..?!?! "
It won't happen
And if they knock and said person didn't answer they're not going to smash the door down are they? The person could easilly be asleep/in the shower etc or say they were if they were later questioned as to why they didn't answer the door. Totally unenforceable. |
