"Can't wait to buy a ticket on line a week in advance and go in to the pub and stand 2 metres away from my mates if they manage to get a ticket that is "
Be like trying to get a ticket for a popular gig I'd have guessed. |

Nope, I'm absolutely not bothered about shops restaurants or pubs. I just want to have intimacy wuth my lovers and for my kids to hug their grandparents. In my opinion, these things should come first |

I'd prefer the UK to get something right with this instead. We've had serial failures, doing most things wrong. Sticking a plaster over the public aspects of our crisis, trying to create a facade of success, whilst the virus is still around in large numbers, is giving people fools gold |

"Can see my local out my bedroom window. Unfortunately as we are in a tourist area I will be avoiding it until Autumn regardless. "
Same here in the forest, they will all be as packed as much as they can, the local icecream man has been constantly busy since early may, I can wait for the autumn as well |

"pubs, flights, soccer, horse racing, are pass times we can live without until there are better times "
So you are happy to pay for the costs of all the staff that work in these industries until you think it's safe for them to go back to work? |

Are you aware that within the Pub industry alone, unless the 2M ruling is reduced to 1M, at least 70% of current closed pubs will NOT open again!!
Within Hospitality alone, unless they can reopen soon, over 3.5M jobs are at risk. |

So you like to see so many people without jobs ?"
Would you like to see 1000s more die just because of watching football or going for a pint? |

More than that and a terrible tragedy. Alas no light at the end of this long horrible tunnel, here's hoping we come to the end of this sooner than later |

If the pubs etc reopen people will have a choice whether to go or not !
Customers have a choice ! The staff do not, but hopefully there can be systems in place to keep them safe.
My choice would be stay away for now, this view will I am sure change in time, but who knows when ! |

The government did a stellar job of frightening the population to get them to stay at home.
Such a good job that they now can’t get them to come back out even though the R rate is a lot lower in large parts of the country.
We never lived in a sterile world and we never will. |
