With there being a very good chance that social distancing will remain in place for up to a year, will all Fabbers, just turn into pen pals and obey legislation.
There are signs now that cracks are appearing in their armour. What do others think?? |

Social Distancing will be relaxed a bit very soon, unless there is a sudden spike in infections I would guess that ALL social distancing restriction will be gone by the school summer holidays.
If social distancing restrictions were to stay for 12 months, it would mean that schools could not open properly, pubs and restaurants couldn't re-open, tourism couldn't re-open... This would finish off thousands of businesses and create a huge increase in unemployment. The government just can't afford to keep social-distancing.

I have a family member that works for PHE they have official emails stating the R number is not as high as the figures released to the public. They are saying its higher to stop the idiots who would ignore lockdown thinking it is safe now. |

I'm of the same belief that they need to relax more to allow businesses to start to operate effectively.
We are operating a 2m rule yet other countries are successful with a 1m rule.
The public are fed up now and the scenes in and around the cities doesnt help, nor the actions of senior parliament.
There is a lot said for a virus we have no control over.. but and this is my opinion only we don't have one for flu.they guess the strain and hope they are right yet thousands die every year from flu ..
All weird times and i guess the government will control the information we get to maintain a stable economy...
Wow heavy for a swingers forum. .
More to the point of i want it relaxed now as I'm in need of physical contact |

Not sure about where you are but the traffic by me is up to about 80% back to what it was before the lockdown.. and I'm still sticking to the rules |

I think though that they will have to allow some groups to meet physically soon. Like couples separated or allow people to meet one other person intimately x |

"Social distancing" can mean anything from "total lockdown" to "business as usual, except for restrictions on large public gatherings." I think it's quite reasonable to expect some measures to still be in place this time next year.
But there's no way I'm holding out another 12 months without sex. Even when I was with my long term partner who had little to no interest, I got my leg over at least 3 or 4 times a year. And I'm now used to it being at least that a month (sometimes a week, and on not so rare occasions, even in a day.)
Back in those bad old days of enforced abstinence (sex not wanted by my partner, and not allowed to look elsewhere) I used to hit peaks of sexual frustration where I would start taking risks (especially when d*unk) for thrills I wasn't getting out of actual sex. And I can feel myself heading down that path again. Probably best if I don't go into too many details, but I did end up injuring myself at least once.
I'm watching neighbours and shoppers make their own rules. No distancing from other households and masks rarely worn. So I'm going to make my own rules with respect to casual sex meets. No kissing (since that's probably the primary vector) oral only after washing the relevant part with soap and water for 20 seconds, and anal (or vaginal, if I had one) generally done doggy style with masks on, in a well ventilated room.
I'm seriously considering putting a tent or gazebo with side panels up in the back garden. So, strictly speaking, we won't be breaking the rules about going into anyone's houses. I think it's quite possible to keep faces 1m apart for doggy, which is the WHO recommendation and what the government is likely to adopt so that pubs and similar can reopen. |

You have to think about how they could enforce issuing tickets or arresting when they are outnumbered have far too few police cells to put them in and the backlash from the group would of taken an even worse direction.
Pick them off on the way home for their tea and deal in smaller groups might work .. sorry just saying |

The goverment guidelines for meeting strangers off the internet for sex have been leaked already, it includes no ass to mouth and spitting in each others mouths is for people from the same house hold only. |

My sister lives in Italy and things are almost back to normal. Cafes and restaurants have opened back up- and judging from the photos she’s sent me tables have not been socially distanced.
You have to wear a mask when outside at all times, unless you’re eating/drinking.
Schools are still closed, but mainly because it’s almost holidays for them anyway.
Shops are still socially distancing with a limited number of people allowed in at one time.
Households are allowed to mix- so you can go to your friends house. My sister went to a dinner party last night.
So if our R number drops low enough for restrictions to be lifted then I’m assuming things will be similar to how Italy is now. |

This is what I was going to say as well.
Restrictions will be relaxed as time goes on, and I believe people will be allowed to have meets sometime before the summer is over.
Mass gathering will take longer to be relaxed, probably not till the end of the year or sometime next year.
So you may be able to meet someone on Fabs soon but it will take longer before you can attend a swingers club again. |

***.... the traffic by me is up to about 80% back to what it was before the lockdown....***
The traffic being 80% is 'normal'.
It doesn't mean people are not sticking to the rules.
The current rules allow you to travel long distances (long distances which you would rather use a car than walk)
Also people have been told to go back to work, and advised to use their cars where possible instead of public. transport.
So we should expect the traffic to be 80% or more. |

The traffic near me is normal except at the times you would expect the school run rush... or shopping madness.. for instance I drove through derby city centre in minutes yesterday and at 5pm got around the Pentagon with no issues... that is not something that ever happened pre covid. |

Would I be right in thinking that the protests this week will either increase the infection rate and show that we need social distancing, or, if there isnt an increase could we then say that actually social distancing doesnt necessarily need to be in place? |

If there isn’t any increase, then it could be partly due to the fact most had some form of face covering on when they could not keep to social distancing.
So if we scrap social distancing, will you be prepared to wear face covering every time you leave your home ? |

The government that seriously thinks they can keep families apart over the Christmas season unless we are literally seeing bodies in the streets and hospitals resembling MASH units is both seriously deluded and highly unlikely to survive long into the new year.
That's without even mentioning the utter carnage such an attempt would bring across multiple industries and the associated issued that would cause. Bear in mind that a very large number of those worst hit are young and are highly likely to make their displeasure very clear indeed. |

I think social distancing will have to be relaxed as in you can have bubbles they can't expect partners who don't live together to abstain from even holding each other
I think we need to sort the bubbles out asap or I think too many will become frustrated and break the rules.

PLEASE don't ask women to wash their vulva with soap. This should never ever happen as it's damaging for their pH and not necessary! Water should do, and if they would like a little extra then women can use aqueous cream or specially formulated intimate washes x |

The lockdown rules are already subject to mitigating guidance ..... nevermind the catch all guidance of “follow your instincts and use common sense”. So really, does everyone need express ‘permission’ of uk gov to see their loved ones, friends and family?!!! Further, people have been and will continue to make risk based judgement on whether they want to meet strangers.
Ask the question.... What’s more important carefully addressing the inherent need for engagement with others, intimacy, expressions of attraction or to post chat room messages ‘help, i’m a startled bunny in the headlights’? |
