I am not being funny but that is not going to help many people. I've had people already on call lines in tears as all they wants was to be able to meet their partner who doesnt live with them and have physical contact...

The point I'm pondering... there are seven in my household, does that mean no one can come to a bbq at mine, because I'm already over the number of 6. Or can 5 additional people attend. In line with social distancing of course |

Looks that way.
Basically we’re going to see loved ones now and try our best to keep a distance.
If the weather stays good then it should be a good garden party.
But close physical contact seems to be not an option. |

Every Thursday night where I live folk come out to clap and then spend a good hour with a glass of wine chatting to neighbors
People can often be seen sat opposite ends of a garden/drive catching up.....

It’s up to 0.9, it was at 0.8 the previous week.

To be perfectly honest, there's no one I want to see THAT bad, to risk my health being around more people .
I've seen my Mam throughout this while doing shopping drops and a social distance coffee with my besty.
The day we are allowed to hug, that's a WHOLE different story |

I'll be totally honest I am not looking forward to this. How can I socially distance from a 2 year old grand daughter. It's impossible. Either she gets upset about it or I do.
I'm inclined not to get involved with this stage of unlock down. I can't see how it will work. Trouble is Nan is desperate to see the littl 'un. I just can't see how this is supposed to work I'm afraid. |

What I heard was We are still seeing new infections every day in quite significant numbers and the R is close to 1
