And the knock on effect of that is that local people having heart attacks, have to go to Bristol.

And so on....

It's closed because staff was tested positive nothing to do with a spike. It's a new hospital but crap management, not had night time emergency for a year now and this .No one tested then tested all staff at once and now no staff what a fuck up.

London

Read somewhere it's a small hospital with about five critical care beds that frequently closed.

Seems anything negative is pushed much more than positive news

News still say it's closed because to many new covid cases coming in, spoke to friend who works there she said closed for deep clean after staff poved positive. Media making it up again I'm shocked.

The coronavirus trackers on the science pages work best otherwise it's all blanket numbers by council area on the news trackers, its inevitable to rise slightly in different areas as we mix more, but hopefully still keeping under one for R

It won't just be Weston. It's just that they've had enough to potentially overwhelm the hospital.

Bristol

Is it Weston General? Without a doubt the worst hospital I've ever seen and directly responsible (as in they lost a court case) for the death of my grandmother. COVID would be the least of my worries in that place.

Bedford

The beach is very silty, my mum caught a bad chest infection while lying on the silty sand years ago.

I guess it gets washed down from Avon River.

We had the best fish n chips there btw.

There's a lovely little club in Weston, my favourite place to pop into for a break when I'm heading up or down the M5.
