I just read an article in the Guardian about the Dutch approach to the lockdown where their Government is suggesting to single people to find one 'cuddle or sex buddy', providing they are symptom free to be able to meet up during lockdown.
Do we wish to have this similar attitude and approach in the UK?  |

I actually tried this..... and nooooo one person is not for me. I'd rather go without lol..
In their version can you send them home or do you have to live with them ?? |

It's a progressive idea from a country that has been better governed, with a healthier outcome than the UK or USA. I'd definitely consider having 1. They are also in a more advanced stage of reopening the country.
Imagine it having to ever go into a Queens speech, if it were to be a later official law here, that you'd be limited to 1 partner only for a long period of time. Maybe you could swap them on ebay |

You are allowed limited interaction at other people's houses (think its something like 3 people can visit) and the advice is you make on ofvthe.a fuckbuddy |

It's a great idea, I'd love to have a cuddle buddy through this but obviously it's a case of trust. Do you trust they aren't cuddling everyone else and are they sure you aren't cuddling others (starting to sound like a safe sex speach) which would put everyone in that scenario at risk. Genuinely would be a great idea, it's just that you can't trust one another to not be selfish and greedy just like the rest of the time there isn't a deadly virus being exhaled  |

I don't understand this either.
Many people get irate about bareback sex but see the risk of covid differently. |

Maybe see if Fab can match us up with people so everyone gets a cuddle buddy but unfortunately, like in every aspect of life, it's a popularity contest. I personally am basically desperate for a proper cuddle and chat, never really enjoyed chatting via text etc and anyone I talk to on here rely on me to talk first every day. Really miss the few people I've met who would leave a message for me to see when I wake up or least expect it but hopefully I'll find that again, just fed up with the messages that start straight away with wanna fuck or whatever but being a guy on fab or in real life even kinda sucks |

I'd love this country to take a similar view towards sex as the Dutch, too many repressed people living here trying to keep the old British way of sex is a dirty thing that should be between a man and wife only. If we took the Dutch approach this would be a much happier country to live in I believe |

Holland is great. So clear and transparent. Wish I could spend more time there.
I meet my BFF for a chat out in the open and keep distance. But we both cuddle at the end. Well worth the emotional returns but yes a risk.
We are going to have to live with this for a while longer. Over here the Lockdown is relaxing with more freedom of movement. Schengen area travel looks next as from June the airlines like Lufthansa fly again. UK is out altough Portugal wants UK tourists back this summer and the Germans want to get to the Spanish and Dutch beaches. |

The fact that the Dutch government addressed this and ours hasn't says alot about our attitude towards sex as a country despite the people of the country having a different view for the most part. Just need our government to catch up with the people in regards to what should be frowned upon. |

Completely agree. Imagine a teacher dealing with random kids all day being told you can't see your partner just because you haven't moved in together yet. Same goes for nurses, doctors and every other job with similar circumstances of dealing with multiple people daily but not being able to see that one person they actually want/need to see. |

So true. Just being single and not meeting anyone sucks but to have someone that is special to you out there and not being able to just hold them 
Need to set up a town or something where people that want to live life as 'normal' can go and live, keep the economy going and all that rah rah. I'd go in an instant, not even for the sex and such but just to be able to not worry about what I do because of bringing anything back to my current household  |
