The following statement just released by the Government today,11th May.
------
"No professional sport, even behind closed doors, will be staged in England until 1 June at the earliest, the UK government has announced.
The government has published a 50-page guidance document detailing how England will begin to ease lockdown measures.
Step two of that plan - which will not be allowed to start before 1 June - includes "permitting cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed doors for broadcast, while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact".
------
With football players all over Europe still testing positive, I can't see Premier League and Championship games happening before August.

Newcastle and Gateshead |
I can see golf being the first one to come back..... i can see tennis as well
the more individual sports aren't the issue.... its the team sports that i don't see coming back before autumn...
if you were to ask me if premier league season gets finished, i would say not unless there is no relegation
it wasn't that weird watching UFC on saturday night, just because i'd watched many series of the ultimate fighter |

I could care less, one of the few good things about this is the lack of football on the TV, that I haven't missed

Horse racing already back on in Germany and France, aiming for June 1st here.
My local golf and tennis clubs reopening, don't see any reason why pro events couldn't be held from start of June.
Team sports a little more tricky because if one player tests positive the whole team's mothballed.
F1 difficult because of the large amount of international travel involved. |

Aparantly the premier league is looking at June 16th for a return date if it's safe of course but that's still a month away so things should be much clearer by then.
German league football is back at the weekend with some teams in I guess you could say in quarantine already at hotels 5 days before kick off, so that's something to look forward to if you do enjoy pro sports where you dont know the result |
