Has any one else found the nationwide adverts on TV annoying.
The rambling language of them just doesn't make any sense unless you talk street
Any adverts got you wound up since lockdown started? |

Exactly, they are so depressing and really just make people feel even worse than they did before.
Plus they speak in a street way which is even more annoying!! |

I've been working through this, delivering white goods into people's houses. Can't believe a virus with such a low kill rate makes the sensative lettuces wilt...death is unavoidable FACT... Nik |

Us too but sadly the fact that it kills at all is worth taking extra precautions to avoid.

but so do many other things we take for granted. Flu isnt comparable currently as at present without a vaccine or treatment covid 19 does have a higher mortality rate than the flu.. but... there are plenty of research papers out there that explain just how deadly the flu... to even the common cold can be to civilisations that havent had a chance to build up natural immunity. To us the cold or flu is mostly an inconvenience... to people never had natural exposure to it. It kills many of them. Look at when colonisers took our germs to other populations.
This is new and it will take time and exposure and some people will sadly lose their lives... but unless someone totally isolates in a way not possible exposure eventually is guarenteed. |

Death does get us all in the end. But I was rather expecting to die because someone's husband came home early...... rather than because someone coughed on me at Sainsbury's. |

I hated them before Covid. Sound always goes down.
I hate them even more now. Same format , same condescending wittering on in some form of prose that makes me shiver....
