"Not in wales.
We are still in lock down. And people traveling here to visit the beaches will be fined/charged. "
Should put a boarder up to be frank about it. |

Scotland are the same as wales.
Unfortunately our news isn’t broadcast in England but if you google it you’ll get your answer! |

I don't need to Google it. I am saying that there should be boarders put in place then you can close them. |

Believe it or not, England are fully aware that the rules haven’t changed in other countries |

Do Wales pay for their own furlough scheme or does that come from Westminster out of interest? |

I’m surprised to hear that! They broadcasted Nicola sturgeon and Mark Drakeford’s announcements on English news. The BBC have also made it very clear to people that the other 3 countries in the UK have not lifted restrictions |

Sorry I don’t know.... I’m a key worker so I haven’t investigated it.
However I do know people who are self employed or on furlough have had a hard time getting anything |

Are you?
We had 8 cars turn up here on Friday from London.
Their excuse was ‘we’re bored!’
I’m north wales. That’s a 200+ mile trip.
And not a one off occurrence.
It happens daily. ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |

Being out and about in the sunshine is good for the immune system and our mental health.
I intend to get to the beach in the next week or so. Rain or shine to be fair. Just as I know my special needs daughter will benefit from it and she was supposed to be going on may 20th with one of her groups.. and has been counting down to her beach trip. |

Applying common sense, I assume that if you live within walking distance of a beach, or a very short car journey, there should be no reason why you can't wander down there. However any long journeys or public transport journeys should still only be for essential purposes.
Though legally? Fuck knows what the new rules actually mean. |

Though legally? Fuck knows what the new rules actually mean." I live in the most landlocked place in the uk. Actually only a few miles from the place. However it was already made allowable a few weeks back that those with certain special needs had different restriction.. I've waited till they have removed this for all though. Its about an hour and a half for us but we will stick to distancing.. take our own food.. and spend a few hours in our own space enjoying the Joy's of the beach... and hopefully that will pick my daughters mood up for a few weeks. |

Exactly this. Was VERY clear, as was most of it if you actually listened without the preconceived ideas that many seem to have had. |

But another question might be . . . if you are Scottish or Welsh and living in England . . . are you staying home or ? "
