So during the lockdown has anyone found any new skills they didn't know they had, what have you learned about yourself, maybe you’ve realised your a lot more strong headed than you thought you was, or yes I am actually a light weight and last glass of wine was not a good idea

I feel a bit of a fraud because I haven't learned anything about myself, I haven't struggled and apart from having to pay over the odds for 100% peanut butter because the queue outside Aldi is too long and I don't want to join it, haven't really been inconvenienced. I almost feel that I need to invent some angst

Ive learned that people can turn a thread about anything at all including dog poop and VE day into a thread about the virus or politics

On a more serious note I learned that I am mentally alot stronger than I thought I was , I used to make any old plans every weekend because I was afraid to be alone too much with my own thoughts ... ive now been home entirely alone for 2 months and instead of it scaring the crap out of me I havent only survived Ive become incredibly comfortable with my own company

I had planned to.

As it turns out I have been flat out with work. That is down to the fact that other people are more available for discussions.

I have managed to find more time to read and watch some webinars and and feed my inner nerd for the industry I work in.

I've not been alone though. I think that would be much harder...

I offered a free vehicle 'get you going service' to the local area so as to give something back to the community.

Then I learnt that included repairing a lawnmower for a local church and my conciense not letting me charge them for the rebuild parts.

Gosh I have learned LOADS!!!!!

I have realised that I worked waaaay too hard and too many hours, probably putting myself into an early grave. I have stepped back now to analyse this and I definitely won't be working 90 hour weeks post Covid.

I can grow stuff and not kill it if I remember to water it.

I REALLY like my own company

SO many people really do care about us and the club..the messages have been lovely, thank you xx

Some people have really surprised me...not in a good way.

That the club is so much more than a swinging/BDSM club to lots of people; it is their haven to express themselves as they really are and I get told this daily

I have learned who our supporters and friends really are!!! I have been more surprised by this than anything!!

That having good accounts has actually made a big difference when the shit hit the fan...it won't make much difference if we're still closed next year though

That sleep really is essential! Wow, how I like 7-8 hours nowadays!

Yes, you really can have too much sex. My vagina is broken

My hair grows REALLY quickly!

That a Doxy wand really is the best wand compared to Hitachi and Lelo

xxx

I think in a whole as much as this virus has ruined lives, and completely torn families apart, we as a nation have come together and helped our fellow man and lady when they do desperately need it x

I did feel good about it until I got the text this morning asking if I could also fix their Rotovator

I'm not even religious ffs.

Still every little deed that helps anyone counts at this moment and it's a more productive way of spending time than insanely arguing on threads about tax and N.I. contributions that people didn't pay but now E pe t the benefit of. (Turned it political for Girlinlingerie

Townhouse is more to me than a place to hook up, it's a place to socialise and enjoy life on my good days and my bad days, when I just sit and drink coffee on the sofa in TH bar on a MILF Monday watching people interact and have a good time.

The honest truth is, it's the place I miss most during lockdown and that is the truth and not just blowing smoke up ya ass.

Oh and yeah, I've been telling people for years that Doxy's are the best wands

It was meant as a lighthearted joke, it wasn't meant to be negative. I happen to agree with most of your arguments if that means anything.

I have learnt that the things I thought were major problems and would run around trying to solve are actually not major at all . just trivial really especially compared to what some are experiencing

I've learnt that I give myself to much to others and need to step back and start thinking of myself and start living a life for myself especially being 56 this year.

So once life can start getting back to normal I'm looking to move away to the seaside and start enjoying the rest of my life x Storm x

I was literally only thinking of this yesterday... so here is my thoughts:

I actually like my husband and kid- they’re both awesome people.

I appreciate the area that I live in and our home so much.

I’m grateful for selfless people eg: the NHS and key workers. I wish I was that brave.

I can bake

And make great cocktails

I can grow vegetables from seed (but need to learn how to get rid of slugs)

I’ve not forgotten my Spanish

I hate Arnie Presses

Shaving isn’t as good as waxing but I ain’t doing that myself so it will have to do!
