But as said could affect cabin crew etc...the testing/quarantine should be done before you are allowed to fly?? Not a simple solution tho.... |

If all the other countries have contained it, then the people coming in won't have it. |

Agreed!
Surely the air crews could both be at danger and also be a danger? As they travel to multiple countries it's going to be impossible to contain?   |

The rule was always quarantine for 2 weeks.
But when you can arrive in the country and walk straight through customs without someone telling you to quarantine, something's wrong there. Or at least test to get the numbers up to the magic 100k. Controversial. |

Why on ever do think it will be constrained? In a country of the size and density of the UK it cannot be contained. Other than slowing the spread down by lockdown or by a vaccine it has to run its course. A vaccine may be years away.
That is what most people seem to be missing. The pathogen will do what it does just slower or faster depending on population contact and density. |
