"Surely as Ryanair is Irish it is the problem for the Irish government thy are not British so should get no help at all"
You do know that this scheme with its flaws is to support the workers of the companies here?
Using your logic then any companies such as macdonalds, KFC, Siemens etc would be ignored..

The job retention scheme is to help workers not companies.
Without it all those workers would simply lose their jobs and it wouldn't make any difference for the company. |

This will be for RyanAir U.K. "
I doubt it will be significant in the grand scheme of things. They only operate one aircraft and commenced operations just over a year ago. The last accounts filed, which were to 31 March 2019, show no staff costs. |

The government is hoping. We all are. That we can get out of this by June.
Once the lockdown is lifted there will be mass redundancy across the UK.
For now the government is keeping people carm by paying them, or else people would go mad.
But some companies could do more. And likely they will use Coroan as an excuse to get rid of people which is sad. And play the whole "needs of the business" card.
But sadly many small fmaily businesses will suffer.
Hence why I am hopefully we get out of this soon. |

"Should businesses such as Ryanair, who are making full use of the furlough scheme while simultaneously planning redundancy be made to pay the govt back?"
Pay the government back ?? The money is simply a reimbursement of the furlough pay they are paying to their employees. By that logic would u rather many millions of people had been made redundant 6 weeks ago ? |
