I think he does that and I am with djokovic on this and I agree with what he is saying "Personally I am opposed to vaccination and I wouldnt want to be forced by someone to take a vaccine in order to be able to travel" You shouldnt be forced to do something you dont stand for. I think that the tennis federation will let it go cos they dont want to lose a big player like him  |

Health is not always an individual choice.
Typhoid Mary was isolated for the benefit of others in one of the worlds most free societies.
Mentally ill people are locked up for their own and others protection.
In countries where you need health insurance you will not get cover without a vaccination.
In a free society the I don't expect compulsory vaccination, but their will be consequences for that choice. |

We have to relinquish rights, to favour the common good, frequently. I'm not generally in favour of forced medical treatment against someone's wishes. He can keep himself without the vaccination but must accept the limitations that this may impose on him. Generally people who are against all vaccines are misguided and also take the benefits of herd immunity, where the majority of others have had them. They are potentially putting others at risk though, as some are unable to have the vaccinations and need herd immunity to stay safe.
He'd be better to look at the evidence and make his decision from that, rather than showing an obstinacy that's probably linked to his ego. |

I have no knowledge about the tech that's available or potentially being developed.
But I would question a conspiracy suggesting that we're being injected with nanobots without our consent (I know that you're not suggesting it, but some people are). Especially if, as you point out, the info is already available via Google.
As for the question you posed. I would take an injection of those things to cure some life threatening illness, if they have had successful medical trials. |

Having just looked...out of curiosity....between guffaws of laughter at some of these posts we found that the smallest nanobot, capable of moving untethered is 0.2mm. It does, however, require a special floor with electrodes implanted in it....hardly practical to mix in with a vaccine? |

As a society we can and do choose to exclude people from sections of society and public services if they refuse to abide by law, norms, etc, without reasonable excuse.
I can and will be writing to my MP to argue for strict exclusion for anyone refusing a vaccine that NICE accepts (without medical exemption).

I want them to not be a threat to herd immunity, for the anti vax movement to die, and to live safely. I have close relatives who can't get vaccinated for anything anymore.

I can and will be writing to my MP to argue for strict exclusion for anyone refusing a vaccine that NICE accepts (without medical exemption).

Are those people who think vaccines should be compulsory prepared to accept there would need to be a massive overhaul of the vaccine damage fund first?
Some people who were damaged by the swine flu vaccine in 2009 only got their compensation (and keep in mind the fact that the vaccine caused narcolepsy in some was a known and hidden issue) in the last few months. It took a decade of fighting for it. |

You have freedom of choice to smoke but no one else is forced to allow you to smoke in their premises.

Yup, it's called freedom of choice. I don't disagree with vaccines but I do disagree with compulsory vaccination on the grounds of losing my freedom to choose whether or not to do something for myself. It's a slippery slope, it won't end with compulsory vaccinations either. Extreme attitudes like yours make me wonder why my grandparents bothered to fight in WW2 to preserve our freedom from tyranny.

That freedom also extends to my freedom of choice to not mix with people who may be carrying an infectious disease.It also extends to various service providers to have the freedom of choice about not providing their services to people who haven't been vaccinated.
But if you’ve had the vaccine, why would mixing with those who haven’t be a problem? I’ll have the vaccine and I’ll happily mix. Why wouldn’t I?
Let’s look at the thought of various private companies not providing services to those who haven’t been vaccinated. Are you sure you want your local cinema looking at your medical history? And if you want to deprive those without the vaccine of having hospital treatment, then the same should go for smokers, drinkers and the fat.
They already do
Try getting a knee replacement if you're fat
Try getting any operations if you smoke or drink heavily"
I think they can refuse certain ops if they have told you to stop smoking and you carry on? |

If society educates people properly then there will only be a small number of people who do not understand the consequences to themselves and society compared to the vanishingly small risk.
Bear in mind that most vaccines are or are not given to children with parental consent. How dare they impose their view on someone who cannot make a decision, but then what if their child catches it and passes it on to someone unable to have a vaccination?
Who has the greater right to not get the disease?
As someone pointed out in this thread, we are two generations away from understanding a world in which there are highly contagious diseases that kill swathes of the population.
COVID-19 isn't even as bad as Polio or Cholera.
It's unbelievable that as a society we now seem to be seeking out stupidity

Good examples,smokers,drinkers and overweight people.
You have freedom of choice to smoke but no one else is forced to allow you to smoke in their premises.
We're free to drink if we like but there are plenty of things we can't do after a drinkie or two.
We're all free to eat as much as we like but no one has to provide us with extra wide seats.
If you demand the freedom to refuse vaccination, isn't everyone else entitled to the freedom to exclude you?"
You aren't speaking on behalf of 'everyone else' though are you? I still like to believe we live in a democratic country, not a dictatorship. Anyway, if you are vaccinated then what's your problem as you should then have immunity? |

I've had 2 knee replacements and I'm fat. My weight has never been mentioned by anyone.
Btw i had a serious injury to both knees (at the same time) which caused me to need knee replacements. |
