Number of people looking to meet after 'lockdown'

I'm staggered at the number of people saying on their profiles which show on the homepage that can't wait for the end of lockdown so they can arrange meets again! Like, what do these people think? That the virus will disappear on 7th May or whenever restrictions start to get partially lifted?!

On the one hand, I entirely agree and a double peak scares the hell out of me as I fear a second lockdown wouldn’t be respected.

On the other hand, it’s hard to stay positive, so many people are really struggling with lock down and psychologically we really need things to look forward to.

So, what's the alternative, we all lock ourselves away indoors forever? Life has to start returning to normal at some point.

why not. I'm going to be straight out as soon as I can. The virus is likely to never fully disappear. Same as many other illnesses.... If they lifted lockdown tmw I can tell you now I'd be out like a flash.

Your choice not to meet. Others are free to take a different approach.

How many times are you going to post about this? I'll be seeing friends once lockdown is over, I'm perfectly aware that the virus won't have disappeared but I'm confident in my own ability to make sure I take necessary precautions to protect myself and others.

Patronising people as much as you do doesn't help anyone.

It’ll be easier for a lot of couples not to meet. But a bit more tempting if you’re living alone and not been able to touch another human for months.

Yeah, much better to stay in for ever. Of course, the human race will die off but that’s ok too eh?

Honestly, I wonder where some people keep their brains.

I also assume that the OP won’t be meeting up and hugging etc, friends and family either. Not until the virus has disappeared...

This virus is not going away for very long time people won’t stay locked up until it’s gone if it ever fully goes away we get different flu strains every year can’t afford lockdown for long periods it just won’t happen.

Wash well, have a zipper (or two) on the hazmat suit, should be fine.

I doubt the guidance is suddenly going to go from "stay in your cages" to "you are now free butterflies." As long as people follow the rules we should be good, and for those who do not, we just have to hope they do not fuck it for the rest of us, in all senses of the word.

There's a difference between living and existing. If people are allowed to go to work, shops, school and see friends and family etc......then there is absolutely no issue with consenting adults with no symptoms meeting and acting out whatever outrageous sexual desires they have developed during lockdown!

I don't know when lockdown will end but I imagine there may be a further extension. I look forward to it ending and certainly can't wait till it's over and safe to see family and friends but me looking forward to it ending and enjoying the touch of another person when it happens is definitely different to someone meeting while lockdown is enforced.

Can people not have something to look forward to?

Give it a rest. We're one of the fattest countries in europe which costs the NHS a pretty penny and go lecture the bareback gangbang club on the cost of HIV treatment.
