BBC article on testing... so a downing street spokesperson decided to insult our intelligence by saying the government was "absolutely standing by" its commitment to 100,000 tests a day before next friday. The brilliance of this is when you understand that its actually our fault they aren't testing enough. "Lack of demand, rather than capacity" is the reason for their failure. That's right NHS workers, just done a nice long shift and don't fancy a long drive - yeah you're the problem. I know there's nothing I'd rather do than go on a long drive when I'm struggling to breathe.

Would you bollocks. I've had to drive myself to hospital whilst repeatedly vomiting (from pain) out the window every 5 minutes. Unless you're dying they tell you to go fuck yourself. |
