Some guy even calling for genocide via nuclear war against China over on another thread. We can expect more and more of this as the UK and US governments both attempt to distract form their own failings. And as more xenophobic, easily led people jump on the bandwagon. | |||

With China to buy $250 billion a year from the farmers -- China is going to have to buy $450 billion from the farmers. Then you heard about this. the question was asked, would you be angry at China? the answer might be a resounding yes, but it depends. it was a mistake that got out of control? or was it done deliberately, ok? In either event, they should have let us go in. We ask to go in early -- we asked to go in very early. and they would not let us in. I think they were embarrassed. I think we are doing very well. you said Russia. you said China. you said North Korea. Iran. When I came in, Iran was a terror. we had 82 points of fighting, 18 points of confliction. The first week, I said tell me about Iran. Sir, we have 18 points of confliction, meaning Yemen, Syria, Iraq. they're a much different nation now. I stopped that deal, horrible, and they want to talk. Kerry made the deal and does not want them to make a deal -- John Kerry made the deal and does not want them to make a deal. Stupid deal. He made the deal originally. Gave them a $1.8 billion in cash. You could fill up this room 10 times with hundred dollar bills, it is not that small a room. I think it was a major violation and we would have had a deal if it was not for John Kerry but he does not want to be number one embarrassed and never to he said which laughter the election. -- wait until after the election. Maybe Sleepy Joe Biden is going to win. And if Sleepy Joe Biden wins, China will own the United States. China has paid us, you know, from the wall street journal, hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs and we get a lot of that money, small percentage but a lot of the money to the farmers and it kept the farmers going great, all right? we are getting tens of billions of dollars in tariffs. for those of you who say we are paying, China devalued their currency in order to pay. they also added money into their system. I think you have numerous countries waiting to see who went. -- who will win. Go back, two months, and China was supposed to catch us. For years I have heard that China will catch us. But they said China would catch us in 2019. And before the problem, China was having the worst year they had and 67 years and now they are getting really hurt and so is everybody getting hurt. I do not want them to get hurt but they're all getting hurt, everybody is getting hurt, it is admirable thing that has happened, but we had the greatest economy -- it is a horrible thing that has happened. But we had the greatest economy by far and China is not even close and we will keep it that way. But Iran is a much different country than it was. When I first came in around was going to take over the entire middle east and right now they just want to survive. they're having protests every week. I have offered to help them if they want. If they need ventilators, which they do, I would send them ventilators. We have thousands of excess ventilators coming in and here we have a stockpile of ventilators and we are starting to send them so hospitals can fill up their stockpile, which they should have. New York chose not to do it and I understand that. Iran was a terror when I came into office, right now they do not want to mess around with us. two things. North Korea, the same sanctions we have always had except mark, have not given anything, I think you'll hopefully -- except more, we have not given anything. Look at the sanctions. Look at what I did with our pipeline going into Europe. nobody even knew about it. At the same time, I have a very good relationship with Putin. In a thread where people are discussing Trump's distraction tactics is blaming China for everything. You post a comment about blaming China . "he is in deflection mode all over the place... which is why in last night presser it wasn't about what he should be doing (sorting out testing!) but about railing up his base... the protests against social distancing (but only at democratic governors!) the bit about mosques being open and church not! (funny fact.. he lied.. actually every mosque in america is closed!) then having a go at the squad.... he wants the credit for opening up america when it was the state govenors who ask him to be more forceful about telling to stay home and he wouldn't! everything is always "someone elses" fault... he is in full blown conspiracy mode!" " a few interesting poll out this morning... asked whether who they trusted more on this crisis, Trump or their Govenor 34% said Trump 66% said "their Govenor" 60-40 said they want the current guidence to stay in plce..... nationally in the election..... Biden leads by 7... when the race is reduced to 11 swing states — Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — Biden holds a combined 6-point lead over Trump, 49 percent to 43 percent. the only ones of those i would put in the Trump column is florida and wisconsin/arizona at a push.... everything else there screams blue.. the other thing is that there are senate races in a few of those states as well.... republican susan collins of maine is basically "dead in the water".... in colodaro. republican cory gardner is in big trouble against the former very popular goveron of the state, and the senator in arizona , martha mcsally, who is a trump lacky, is down 10 to mark kelly, former astronaut, and husband of gabby gifford (who use to be senator and was assinated but luckily survived) then you are going to have competative races in north carolina and even in montana..... this is why trump is freaking out... having a dem control congress slowed him down... but the dems controlling both congress and senate stops him dead! | |||

Thank you." this is why you have started hearing trump start talking about the appointment of federal judges, because its the one of the few powers the senate has that bypasses congress... normally federal appointments and cabinet appointments tend to be "bi-partisan" (i.e you need more that 60%) but some of the people have been so weird that even republican senators have said "nope!" | |||
