..... wait for a fever, and half the world closes down along with hundreds of thousands of deaths.
Take a thousand chickens. Shove them in shed and pump them full of antibiotics. Next thing you know we have many strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria.
Take a tiger, cut it’s paws off and grind them up so as so as someone in Asia can try to get a hard on.
Is it time to go vegetarian? I think it probably is for me. |

It's a good point, the tiger thing is just plain wrong. The chickens, well we all know what factory farming methods are like, people can make informed decisions where the chicken came from and how it was raised, as with other meats. But its all down to cost, many people just can't afford the organic, free range prices.
I changed drastically my choices, I keep and raise my own chickens so that's not an issue, I'm big on my animal welfare. I mostly eat fish, meat is always organic, and I know where it came from but I'm eating less red meat these days.
I like meat, fish and poultry too much to completely give it up, but I understand people going vegetarian or vegan. Its a choice at the end of the day.
Vegetable production isn't much better, look at the chemicals used there to get them growing nice and pest free! Unless of course its organic.

China is a scurge on all wildlife.
Most ivory goes to China.
Most rhino horn.
All pandolins skins and babies.
Snakes cooked alive.
Most Shark fins cut from live sharks go to China.
And obviously tiger products.
They really do not care.
Most new viruses start in China.
And yet the whole western world keeps pouring money into China.
They manufacturer half the world's products on dirty brown coal electric.
Just so business can build and you can buy a shitty plastic toy or TV or whatever cheap.
Maybe the world will finally care, probably not. |

This.....and not the virus...is the real reason why we as a people...and rest of the world...should be making it clear, by our shopping choices, that we DO NOT WANT CHINESE GOODS. This needs to be communicated to big companies.... Lets be fair, in the west they calk the shots far more than government. |

As you say "PROBABLY NOT"..
One day this will be under control, the death toll from Climate Change over the 60-100 years will be magnitudes higher.
What are we doing about it?
NOT A LOT.
Sudden death 'shocks the monkey', slow and steady gets overlooked. |

Organic? Organic farming has 25 approved pesticides including copper sulphate as a fungicide on fruit. |

Maybe it’s time to stop pouring finances into China the W.H.O can’t do anything about the disgraceful inhumane way the Chinese treat animals reptiles or anything else with a pulse they can eat.

Agreed and don't get me started on the millions of sharks lost every year for shark fin soup!
Take out the top predators and you mess the whole eco system.
Considering sharks are older than trees what right have we to wipe then out!
I went cage diving with Great White Sharks in South Africa in the beginning March 2020 we got home 12th March just before things started to kick off virus wise.
It was one of my life goals and it was absolutely amazing. K my wife also dived in the cage with me aswell.
We were also super lucky even though we set off 4am to drive 2hrs to Gambasai as Sharks tend hunt at dawn and dusk and nature is unpredictable I wanted to give myself the best chance of a sighting. The crew had not seen a Great White in 3 weeks prior to our dive, in fact over the last 2 years sightings of Great Whites in South Africa were at an all time low. We were truly blessed to have a 2 and a half metre juvenile followed by a large 4 and a half metre mature male on our dive.
If anyone wants to see the video if the dive drop me a PM.
To think my unborn child may not get a chance to see these majestic beasts is heart breaking.
Recently studies have shown Great Whites reach sexual maturity much later than was previously thought. Males 26 yrs and females 33 yrs! So there ability to recover from over fishing is really low. Where close to the tipping point as it is

KJ x " There's nothing more confusing than an eco warrior who proves their credentials by telling us about all the air miles they've clocked up in order to experience the animals they want to save from global warming and human exploitation. Or as Richard Thompson sang about Sting
Here comes Geordie in his private plane
Got to save the planet once again
Good old Geordie, righteous as can be
Chop down the forest just to save a tree |

Hurrah! Someone else who knows organic doesn't equal pesticide-free! |
