Posts about Parties after lockdown... Reality check
Jump to: Newest in thread
I often see statuses and have had messages about these massive crazy after lockdown parties..
Im not sure if people are truly understanding the nature of this beast..
When lockdown is lifted there will still be some forms of social distancing in place .
Any activities or entertainment industries that attract large groups of people in convined spaces will still not be permitted..
You will be putting yourselves and others at risk. There will still be people that are carriers and there will still be people that have not caught this virus.
By not understandings the implications theres a risk of a 2nd wave.
Clubs and events and larger parties will the last to open.
Please be responsible and realistic.
There will not be massive parties after lockdown .. that are legal and responsible
Life will not just return back to normal over night and this is still only the begining of an unknown era.
We need to all learn to adjust, adapt and use this time wisely to regroup and grow mentally and physically.
And if lucky See you all at Christmas

Indeed... there is no... "over". The vast majority of the population haven't had it yet... and so can catch and carry it...
maybe the times of finding a single FWB might be upon us..... eck. |

Clubs and people staying positive and having something to look forward to is important.
No one knows what will happen in months down the line.
Each individual is usually able to consider their individual risk factors.
So once the actual lock down is over, if consenting adults decide to party, that is their decision.
It's not like parties and clubs drag people off the street so I don't think judging people is a good idea. |

Honestly, none of us know what will happen so we are better off just waiting and if I want to imagine a filthy sex fuelled orgy as a post lockdown celebration, I will. Stop trying to piss on my bonfire! |

Consenting adults during normal times considering their individual risk is fine. The impact on others is minimal if at all.
These are not normal times and catching covid19 puts family and friends at risk. Not just them but their friends and families. Catch covid19 and you could kill someone close to you...

A few weeks ago, before lockdown had even properly started, perhaps not of a 'swinging' nature there seemed lots of people going on about: we're really going to party and get p***ed together when it's over.
Now realistically it doesn't seem that it's going to be like that, does it. Not like a victory day at the end of a war. And WWII was followed by 2 years of shortages as severe as during wartime.
Who knows for sure? |

I think it’s inevitable that some people are going to be thinking about it and if it makes them happy then I don’t see a problem with it. I don’t think the end of lockdown is going to be quite what they hope for though unfortunately. Attending a party is the absolute last thing on my mind. |

People always have dreams for their futures and it's a natural defence mechanism, when times get tough.
It's different to taking your first steps in the uncertain reality of a vague point in the future, when nobody can currently predict what the reality of that time will truly hold.
Relax. Focus on your own life and responsibilities. |
