When do you anticipate to be able to return to work I personally think we are in this fir the long haul no responsible venues would risk opening their doors as early as this may surely?

I don’t think they will lift restrictions on bars/pubs/music venues etc until September. As each stage of lockdown is lifted they’ll want to monitor the infection and death rates.

These places pose the biggest risk, so they’ll want infection rates to be next to nothing before they open places where large numbers of people gather

I read September if there's no reopening by then we are looking at almost a million job losses as the pub and hotel trade will never recover.

The problem will be that the bigger chain types will survive largely unscathed but the smaller venues, pubs, restaurants, cafes, microbreweries etc will be hardest hit and till they can get going again if they can it's the same old bland establishments that will be available..

Maybe they could open sooner, have a distanced queue outside, pop in, drink a pint and leave

Chains: but we're all boycotting Spoons, aren't we.

Girl on the checkout in Farm Foods told me September the other day. Don't know where she heard it? And pubs were closing right, left and centre before any of this, weren't they. And how many are going to be able to afford to go?
