That's because it's a lockdown in name only! If there was a real lockdown, with authorisation forms to leave the house and a few thousand fines issued for not carrying out what is required perhaps the lockdown might get realistic. It's been proven even on here, people can't do it, because they have to nip out for something! |

I don't believe the Chinese figures (because how we can trust anything from the Chinese press). However we have to consider that the East dealt with the SARS breakout 15 Years ago. The West is dealing with CV how they handled that - they had a head start on us because of their experience. |

It's pretty easy to understand.
The countries that had a decent response are all the ones that learnt a thing or two from SARS. Why do you think South Korea had a mass testing programme and we don't? Why is a poor country live Vietnam better at testing than us!
Europe and America is run by fuckwits whose emergency planning efforts have been dominated by 'how to prepare for terrorist attacks' and 4 months ago, the idea of stockpiling materials for virus test kits seemed like a silly waste of money.
Don't let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy though. |

The worse part of all of this that china is to blame for imo is...the fact that this was know to china for around 4 weeks before they notified WHO about it.
We all know about the whistleblowing doctor.
But in them first 4 weeks they had 3 direct flights from wuhan to heathrow per week. I dont know where else they where flying to in that time but you can be assured that almost all the countries in the world had infected people landing at thier airports.
This is what china should be held accountable for.

now I am no expert in disease control but a lot of asia is in poverty with lots of people living away below the poverty line when that virus would get in 2 area like that I would think if would be imposible 2 control ,79 million are living below the poverty line of 2 pound a day,520 million do not have enough food 2 eat each day sanitation would be imposible in large parts asia so many children under 5 die of diahhorial diseases ,,,, |
