Hopefully all the swinging clubs will survive this but it's going to be very hard for them but not in a good way though

They should get a grant and hopefully do some updates in the closed time

We do weekly checks on the club to make sure everything is ok. Last time, we were stopped in a police check and were told that checking and doing business on our business was non essential.

That is such a load of bollocks stopping you for making sure you don’t need to make a plumber, electrician, builder or a n other person come out during lockdown and I would hope that it was just one/two over zealous dibble that you had the misfortune to come across.

Here in France we had a dispensation piece of paper to show if stopped saying it was ok for us to drive for an hour to the big city to get swimming pool chemicals because they are essential.

Crazy times.

Stay frosty!!

Hubby is a builder and he is only doing emergency work if it's not needed he's not doing it x

But checking your property should be allowed. Burglars won't stop because of this

It's looters that could become a problem as this goes on but we have good security. It's more safety stuff as we can't shut the utilities off, so checking for faults etc...

So apparently the burglars have started burglary at businesses more, so checking on your business is essential imo. Oh and social distancing to last indefinitely, apparently. I'm not down with that.

So many reports of inept police officers seeming to make their own rules up. I’d have politely told them to mind their own business. They have no powers to stop you going to your place of work even if it is closed to the public
