I’m quite an anxious person in normal life but just now it’s going crazy
Every cough I’m on edge
Hate writing things like this as it’s something I never talk about
Anyone else feel like this
Starting to fuck my sleep etc |

There's some very good information that may help:

"Doesn’t like everyone have anxiety? Or worry ? "
Not really how I'd describe it.
If you focus on the worry then it can easily become all encompassing.
I tend to ignore what I can't change and concentrate on what I can. |

You're not alone.
I have a slight cough due to asthma and allergies, but I am constantly on edge wondering if it is getting worse or seems different etc.
These are very scary times. |

I had a standard cold a few weeks before this all happened and decided to self isolate, just to be sure and responsible.
I've got a slight cough which I always get if I have a cold but no other symptoms.
Not worried in the slightest and otherwise feel absolutely fine and full of beans now the sun is shining. |

No, I don't.
When my son was dying anxiety, fear, panic, abject terror didn't make a blind bit of difference to the outcome.
I've not left my house in three weeks, I've not seen my children or grandchildren since God knows when, but it is what it is and stressing won't make this hell easier to tolerate so I read, exercise and listen to music to maintain my relaxed demeanour.
Only fly in the ointment is a partner, who is getting close to my last nerve! |

The fact is unless you are over 70 or in poor health you have a very small risk, unless you are a front line medic when imvho there is a risk.
Statistically I have a 2% change of dying this year last year pre virus it was 1%. |

Totally understand where you are coming from op. I've had anxiety for a few years. Medicated now, and miles better. Exercise and routine do help, but if it gets worse see your doc. Best thing I've done. Hope it goes well for you. |

I picked up a low viral load I think whilst doing some voluntary work.
No cough, no temp but several other strange symptoms that could only be corona and some the same as a friend had. It changes on a daily basis and this is day 4 |

Relaxation is a skill that can be learned and improved by practice. If you've an over-abundance of anxiety and doing things that sustain it, it makes sense to invest in learning relaxation skills, to counter the anxiety habits.
Once you develop your new habit, you can benefit from it being automatically engaged with when you need it. |

At this time, being anxious and scared is a healthy reaction. All of us have good reason to worry for our families, our friends and ourselves. We will all deal with it in different ways, but none of us are alone in our feelings. |

I try to make sure I keep to a routine. When we first went into lockdown i just stayed in my pjs all day which didn't help and I'm sure hubby got sick of the sight of them.
I'm lucky that I'm working from home so have things to occupy me. I take a 10 min break every hour, sit in the garden with a cuppa and spend time with hubby and our dog. Keep to normal meal times etc. If you're able to get out for a walk every day. The anxiety makes me feel lethargic and fresh air helps liven me up again.
Keep in touch with people. Facetime is our friend in these difficult times.
Above all remember the majority of people come through this and take care xx |
