Edinburgh

I'm fairly close to Edinburgh city centre and took a walk around town last Saturday night and was very strange seeing everywhere closed and nobody on the streets.

Can't wait till pubs open again but it will take a long time till things are back to normal and some will never reopen.

Ha ha, last Friday I skyped with my mate. I made a sign of my favourite pub and blu-tak'd it to the wall behind me. Then I found a 2 hour video on Youtube of pub backgrounds noises. Then I opened a bottle of rum. We spent 5 hours chatting, and it almost felt as if we were in a pub. Am I missing the pubs? Yep.

My worry is how many may not re-open. Too many "tied" houses still being charged rent by the big companies.
