Milkmen/women have seen a dramatic increase in business with people getting their milk, juice, eggs and bread delivered direct to their door, and with the recent resurgence of the electric milk float courtesy of tesla  do we think that ye olde services from the past will make a comeback on a more permanent basis?
I hope so, I miss things like milkmen/women etc. |

Delivery in glass bottles was also coming back because of the recent backlash against plastic. |

Never officially went away but I cant remember the last time I saw a milkman and wouldn't even know who my local one is. |

I can see milk deliveries making a comeback more so until this Virus ends, if it does but then the much higher pint costs will bite and people will cancel and go back to buying their own from the shops.
Last time we used a "milkman" the price was £1 for 2 litres in the local shop but £1.89 from the milkman, even higher difference for eggs etc and the monthly invoice price started to feel quite high plus I also ended up walking even less to the shop to grab some so that was worse too. |
