Short and to the point. Listenened intently, thought it was a good, inspirational speech. The fact what she was about to say was plastered everywhere already diluted the message, pretty disappointed in that, should have been live for maximum impact. |

We have more in common with each other than any of us have with the Queen. We'd all do well to remember that.
I appreciate the Queen's words would give many comfort, a sense of familiarity and order which will help in such a time of chaos. However, I find the actions of our NHS more inspiring and there's been enough talk. |

Wasn't it nice to be given an expansive shot of the grounds of her castle in all their glory, just before she went on to say it's such a difficult time and people are making great sacrifices. She might just as well have said 'this is where I'm living and excercising, aren't I lucky, I'm so sad that you are stuck in your flat'. I personally think it was a bit of a Marie Antoinette moment from her and the producers (she must have signed it off) and completely unnecessary. |
