There's a Fab'Spert for every need and political colour . . . but also remember people are more inclined to believe the absolutely sensational than be bored to death with an actual truth. It's simply easier to read and quote headlines instead of hacking through the detail and source checking.
We should take all of them with a healthy pinch of salt and mustard because in truth if any of us here really had our finger on the button of what's happening out there in the macro world - well quite simply we wouldn't be here messing around on FAB would we.
So here's the important bit: If you quote something as being a fact, then please reveal the 'source' (we know we can't place many links here but you can give enough information so that the rest of us can simply Google it)

It most definitely is. Trouble is, the current scientific situation is so current that there's a dearth of peer review to go at. It's all hypothesis for now until more data available etc. But some info shared (by me) is concrete, established knowledge, well beyond the peer review stage

Depends on amount of peer review. Published articles are often peer reviewed (medical journals) but they still require a critical mind to assess validity, rigor and researcher bias (among other things).  |
