Remember Polaroid the camera and 3D printer company ? Well they also for a time produced glasses, sunglasses for a short time. I've heard on the grapevine that their innovation centre have been working recently at combining the two ventures in order to begin manufacture of a special lens made of a compound that will pick up where strains of Covid-19 are and how much viral load is present.
Rather ground breaking stuff form a company I had not heard much of recently and well done to those working on that. |
