The common cold mutates continually so we can't get an effective treatment for it, the common cold is a coronavirus, just a different strain or strains and comes back year after year. Could the same thing happen to the coronavirus that gives us Covid-19? It might come back year after year and we could be in this situation for years to some degree. Maybe this is the new normal for the human race, maybe we have to learn to live with it and not beat it
That may well be utter crap and it probably is but it's not beyond the realms of possibility, who actually knows or is going to tell us. |

That’s pretty much what happens with flu isn’t it, they develop a vaccine each year based on which strain they think is likely to be most prevalent and roll that out....hopefully once they understand this a bit more they will have some sort of plan going forward |
