Since the lockdown, what have you learned about yourselves? Have any questions you were pondering been answered? What have you missed the most? What have you liked the most? |

Miss the pub
And been wondering where all the beds for the Nightingale hospitals are coming from ?
That is all

I haven’t learnt anything in particular but it just reconfirmed what I already know.
I’m very good at entertaining myself.
I am happiest when I am at home with my family.
I miss seeing the people I like when I’m not with them.
I can obey the rules!
We are forced into this situation but I am safe at home. I’m grateful and lucky. ‘Count your blessings’ is something I have always done |

I’ve learnt that that the things I think are normal and have been cancelled and I’m frustrated by (Swingfields/mls/armyVnavy at twickers) to name some, are some people’s every day reality. Some people either can’t afford to go to events or are too poorly to go and that our ‘isolation’ is some people’s every day.
I’m deffo signing up for some kind of befriending scheme when all this blows over xx |

"That things are not what they seem and that there's a lot of fake news around.
Yessssss!!"
Did you know that the radiation levels from 5g masts can affect peoples immune systems? Perhaps that's the link that people are talking about with coronavirus. |

A salute to you for obeying the rules. I know there are still thousands who aren't and they will be the few who spoil if for the many |

I've enjoyed spending more time with my kids as I'm always usually working, I will never take for granted being able to just get out and about with family and friends |

I’ve learnt how much I miss making plans. Be they travel or nights out.
I used to love having nothing to do on the odd weekend and now I find myself climbing the walls.
Having choice taken away from sucks but hey ho has to be done. Just got to power through. |

I'm not missing making plans at all. Having a welcome, albeit necessary break from it all. |

I've learnt I'm on here far too much!! Lol
Walks are good.
Sex has become even better.
I miss the freedom and not being able to see my family.
And the question is, why are people sti not doing as they're asked to do and stay in?? |

"Indeed
This will be over one day although you have to think that the Government may try to keep some of the measures in place going forward"
Yes, Al of the ones that have given the police more powers, no doubt. |

I have learnt how to strip my 12 year olds scooter to its component parts, regrease and reassemble in under 20 minutes(4 times this week in case you were wondering). Also learnt that the company I work for do actually value there employees and although we will be furloughed they will make up the 20% shortfall so no one loses out financially. |

I've learned that I made a good choice in sharing a house with people. I don't Lind my own company but if I didn't have the guys here my head would be wrecked. |

That a percentage of the general public can’t adhere to the government guidelines. |

"I’ve learned that it’s really fecking hard to cut your own hair!"
Learned helpful suggestion... don't put clippers away until the new do has been ruffled by the wind at least once. |

That whilst there are some proper arse bags who live amongst us, unscrupulous pieces of excreta who will exploit the elderly and the vulnerable at this time there are many, many more amazing, caring, generous people doing fantastic things for others..
I hold onto that in the occasional dark times and it reminds me just how lucky I was to have been born in this country.. |

I've learned how much stuff I actually really need.
It's surprisingly little...
Another surprise is that one of the things that's important is a radio in the kitchen.
Cycling up hills really does get easier the more you do it. |

I've also learnt that some can be very rude and intolerant about opinions that differ from their own. Ridiculing others is not a good look, just people showing what they are really like I guess. |

I've learnt people like to bitch and moan about being told to take it easy
Since its been so little time in lockdown I've not really missed anything yet.
Job market is crap, that's all really for me so far. |

*I've gained a new insight to the realities of many people I know, love and/or work with
*My company annot be too generous to their workers
*yes, I *DO* like the recorder and I *am* good at it (or will be if I ever do more than fart around and jam)
*How little I actually NEED to eat versus wanting to eat
*Paranoid hypochondriac survivalist that my dad is, it was just as well he was prepared. Mum and I took the piss when he bought Tamiflu all those years ago... And look at where I am now
*How to use an asthma inhaler (kind of)
*I *am* capable of engaging with people outside of those I fixate on
*(More a reminder than anything) Friends are emotional labour for me
*That I will never ever be the same again after this. This has fucked me up far more than I ever conceived, physically and mentally. Ironically my "loony (her word!)" mum seems to be doing very well for herself
*How much having so little to do has actually been a great help for my mental health. No bumpy transport, quieter public space
*Having a specific sleep cycle is not a thing for me. I have no particular circadian rhythm
*Perhaps I *could* become of those types of women who don't do anything about their body hair
*Wearing makeup at home is actually not that weird. Now to work on making sure I look as extra as I can as often as I can
*That once the "productive working" members of society and the 1% are affected, access requirements that disabled people have begged for over years can be magically implemented almost overnight. I don't think that will last somehow, though |

I've learned that I've been trying to ejaculate too often. Temporarily living alone in a flat instead of in a house with my wife has given me time.
I've found it's better sometimes to masturbate, without porn to concentrate on the feeling, to a point where ejaculation will definitely happen if I carry on, and stop and rest instead.
Got the idea from "Solo practice for men" on All About Tantra. Not promoting them, it's just where I saw the idea.
I've learned that a mixture of olive oil, natural yoghurt, KY jelly and a bit of spit makes a long lasting lube.
Using my left hand - I'm right handed - makes a change that's a bit like someone else doing it.
