Hotels are signing up to take recovering patients from hospital with carers to free up beds, I applaud this but cannot help wondering if joe public will avoid those hotels as tourist destinations when they are back to tourist use...

Landlords have already evicted doctors and nurses for fear of them infecting the property

I applaud it too ,

I would also visit the hotels when it is all over . I’m sure the utmost care would be taken to ensure the hotels are thoroughly cleansed and sanitised

The virus does not survive cleaning. Nor does it live longer than 72 hrs on any surface.

It'll be fine!

I'm sure it will, I am just pondering on the publicity of them and whether future tourism would be impacted by their actions now

Absolutely yes to the question and as for landlords evicting NHS staff it's naive and a bit of a risk for them as businesses..

The refrigerated trailers holding dead bodies will continue to deliver food to supermarkets once this is over. They're £100k each. Think of that next time you're eating your quiche

You have to be some sort of c*nt to evict anyone at a time like this let alone an NHS worker. One of my tenants is on a reduced income during this time so they are on a reduced rent for as long as I can sustain it.

Good idea reference the hotels indeed.
