Saw a thing on med cram that says hot baths or saunas help your body fight covid, especially if you go into cold water straight after.

Hence why death rate in Finland is so low.

So keep the hottub on!

Lol - Maybe Finland are just lucky. But there was some research that suggested chlorine would kile COVID 19 but nothing yet proven.

In the meantime - enjoy your hotub - and hold your head under the water if someone speaks.

Try a Dettol Bath, 5 capfuls of Dettol in your bath,

suspect it wont kill the virus but you do come out clean and fresh and smelling nice

I

Hot tub would have really helped with my aches during covid19

You can keep your cold water idea, unless it's clean and in a drinking glass with a slice of lemon

I do however suspect this is part of the misinformation main stream media is bleating on about

It wasn't put forward as a tested cure, just that high temperatures induce immune response better

Sitting in a hot tub won't raise your internal body temperature though.

Our is over two meters across and is square - so one in each corner = 4 + 1 at each side = 4. So 8 people at the prescribed social distance.

Apparently if hot enough it can raise your temperature, maybe some vigerous exercise at the same time helps

This is partly true which is why your body responds to infections

by inducing a high body temperature. This would only apply to your internal temperature however but it's a nice thought OP

So nothing to do with the massively lower population density in Finland?

Raising your body temperature apparently tricks your body into thinking you have an infection and triggers your immune system

Regular use is said to strengthen your immune system but it won't cure infections

Love a dettol bath but can't find any anywhere since all the half wits read it's effective against corona virus and keep buying it.
